Same thing happens to me all the time with comics. I sometimes make a list of dates to avoid that.

Yeah, It can be a good option, but I have no idea where to look for a list to know that.
I want to read soon that special, i'm so interested in that issue but I have fear to be disappointed with Amora's portrayal if she didn't do anything to protect her sons. I want her to be redeemed.

Same. Amora going to Strange is an indication that she cares. I just hope marvel makes that care genuine and doesn't put an ulterior motive behind it to frame Amora as the bad guy.

I hope so and apologies because I was so late to answer, lately my internet connection does not work too well.
The truth and I thank you very much for answering, but there are times when it would be good for more people to bother to say things here, I do not know what happens with these boards that people have a hard time answering or even giving their opinion, it would be fantastic that more people said things, not just you and me and sometimes juan678 when he posts something he has found. Sometimes I feel very alone with all this, it is as if nobody cares about the character at all, not even with things like the current ones.
I just want for her RESPECT, LOVE and JUSTICE, these three concepts should be prioritary to write her right. I just hope in this issue Amora does anything to protect her kids, otherwise it would be disrespectful and out of nowhere and character, she loves her sons, sister, family over anything even herself or her obsession for Thor (that if he becomes part of her family, she don't have any problem because is the love of her life).
Also she is so smart and responsible to make the decision and the move that her children has to be with their father to be good and healthy also the fact to ask for help to the Doctor Strange to save them because with her, they would be constantly in danger and also her lifestyle will not fit on them.
She maybe is not the perfect mother, but she isn't a bad mother after all.
Maybe it's just my theories but I can't stand that people just think she is a nobody or that she is evil just for the sake of it, maybe she is the most human of all the Asgardian Gods.
At this point I'm anxiously awaiting wednesday. Hoping for the best. For readers to see her in a positive light writers need to show her that way. Kelly Thompson dropped the ball hard on that front. Let's see how Skottie Young will do.

Me too, I really need it.
Well, today it seems to be the day to see/read for first time something good related to Amora, hope this time it's good, can't wait to read it soon and more hope if it not finish being ignored by other writers and has continuity, this is so important too.
I can't get the issue in physical format:( Gotta go for the digital first. Hoping for the best.

Yeah, maybe for first time Amora cares and fight for someone isn't herself or Thor, she can be the hero there.
Also I will try for the digital form, I don't know if already there are reviews yet
Just read Strange Academy. The story is fairly simple but Amora's characterization is great. I really liked it and I hope we see more of this family dynamic.
[SPOIL]I especially loved how Amora acknowledged the reason she abondened the kids is because she would have brought trouble to home and wanted better for her children. Fathers identity is still a secret but honestly the issue is what I wanted either way.[/SPOIL]

Yeah, I already read it and I feel so satisfied with Amora's portrayal there, in the end I was right with the theory of why she left them to their father, she truly loves them but don't want them to be messed in any trouble related to her because she don't want them to be hurt by anyone.
I would love to see more and know more of this family (it can be cool to see how Lorelei could deal with her nephews, they can have a lot of affinity because of their shared feelings towards Amora and Sigurd can be so good with kids), also it is necessary to know more about Alvi and Iric father and how Amora respects him more than anyone for what it seems, even Thor.
Their father must be someone special as Amora trusted him with her kids. Also I want Alvi and Iric to meet Sylvie and get confused why she dresses up like their mother (if writers finally bring her back from wherever Amora sent her)
Their father must be someone special as Amora trusted him with her kids. Also I want Alvi and Iric to meet Sylvie and get confused why she dresses up like their mother.
Or how them with deal with her knowing exactly she's not the Enchantress and that how Sylvie has to accept it and expecting to be worthy enough on any challenge Amora tests her to gain that name on her own or even be part of the family if she finishes dating one of Amora's sons.
But you are right, their father must be someone enough reliable (even more than Skurge the Executioner was) to Amora to her doing things like that.
If Skurge was alive he could have instructed the kids on the art of combat with Sigurd.

I don't know why but I have the feeling Alvi and Iric father can be better than both, being a palace guard can be so complicated as a life and he must have trained hard to be an experienced warrior.

I didn't think of it but you are right. The kids probably already have some combat training from their father.

Probably, and Amora as asgardian can have some good abilities with swords and daggers than just magic like her sister seems to have remembering Loki: Agent of Asgard series, Lorelei seems to know more than just magic, also steal abilities (I don't know if better than Black Cat or not, knowing and taking advantage of her asgardian heritage and superior abilities to human beings).
After reading this special of Strange Academy, I think it can be good more Amora the Enchantress's focused stories (in her own, with her sister, Loki or her sons), it's really wasting a lot of potential there sideline her constantly.
This issue is a great foundation to built upon more Amora centric stories.

I hope for it because I really enjoyed the reading also Mike del Mundo art helps too.
I actually thought this arc was quite limiting for Amora. This is her second story arc this year that focuses on being a mother which seems to be a role they're relegating her too. If that's the case, her appearances could be tied to these children and they might disappear for years after the conclusion of that Captain Marvel arc and Strange Academy.

I hope not, I would like all this to have continuity and be relevant, Amora has already seen that she is not a normal and ordinary mother and possibly never will be, she loves her children but prefers to stay away from them for their own safety as has been seen in this story, the truth is that things are better and they make her more human when she sees how she recognizes mistakes but she knows who she is and that it is not easy at all to be able to change even by making small efforts, her path redemption is and can be completely different from Loki's.

The artwork is really beautiful. It's giving the issue a fairytale look.

Totally agreed, it was really good. I really like it.
I liked and loved the fact that after what her son Alvi says, she doesn't hesitate any second to help him to bring back her other son Iric. This is truly relevant for what she is and also the fact that she isn't truly evil and that she cares for her children (not feeling the same with her sister Lorelei).

I think even though she didn't show it Alvi's snarky remark before they left hurt Amora on the inside.
I think even though she didn't show it Alvi's snarky remark before they left hurt Amora on the inside.
Possibly, but she is not very given to showing her emotions even being the type of goddess that she is, I think that is more typical of her younger sister than hers, I think that Amora has never or almost never been shown to shed a single tear by no one still feeling it.
I have been thinking about something that could turn out to be fine such as the fact that Amora the Enchantress after what happened to Doctor Strange and the Scarlet Witch, become a teacher within the Strange Academy.
It would be a good way to be closer to her children and even connect with them in some way.
Great idea. I think Amora would be the teacher who expects excellence from the students on their first try. Not exactly the patient type with the students. I'd love to see Amora interact more with magic users in general Magik, Scarlet Witch, Brother Voodoo, Strange etc.

Yeah, this can be so nice and another step on her way to redemption without losing who she is.
After a whole week, I expected more people to say something, I don't know what has happened lately for many months on these boards that no one says a word or an opinion except for one or two people.

I really love it since the first day but I think that the fact Amora has two sons right now her dynamic and objectives regarding Thor can change in the moment he will discover it because Thor will begin to see her differently.
I doubt anyone on Asgard knew about who is the mother of Alvi and Iric from the Strange Academy except for Loki and for sure Lorelei.

True, Magni doesn't have so much traits from his mother, it was more like Thor but redhead.
Alvi and Iric are more like their mom because we don't know anything from their father, Alvi seems more mature and responsible, while Iric is more impulsive and troublemaker like his mom and aunt.
I really wonder What Thor can think when he knows about it.
