Has there even been a Bat family event (outside of Night of the Monster Men & Fear State) after the New 52/DCYou era ended?

Do we count The Joker War?

I would, yes.
Do we count The Joker War?
I... completely forgot Joker War was even a thing.

Death of the family was huge
All of the lieutenants catwoman the suicide squad were involved in a 23 book event
We have the OWLs
Batman eternal in a sense
I don’t read all of Batman’s books but their world but it’s always turning the gothamverse is enormous

Those were all in the New 52/DCYou era though.

Still feels like only a few months ago :p.

There is no such animal.
Event comics are so dull, especially because they happen so often now.

They might not have been large cross overs tieing into multiple books...but just about every story King did during his run was structured like an event comic, including the need for it to be bigger and more dangerous than the last.
Does Night of the Monster Men count? I liked the arc, it was fun and it only lasted 1 month.

This makes me wonder how people responded to No Man's Land and RIP back in the day.
I was surprised at how few the Wanted variant covers there are but then I remember those are literally all the Batfam books we got, except Robin who's off on an island. Red Hood, Batwoman, Birds of Prey, and Batgirl no longer have a book, and Tim's no longer headlining Titans so they don't drag in that book anymore. The rest are anthologies. So we don't have a train of Batfam books involved like in New 52.

Yeah, this whole "Batman is taking over" talking point is a bit misleading. We just got lots of out of continuity (or anthology) series.
