Oh, yeah, This or the TL-191 series are stuff I've wanted to see done for years.
I honestly think T-191 would be way more interesting than whatever HBO were thinking with the Confederate show, especially given that Harry gave a lot of black characters very engaging stories across the series. Clearly some might have an issue with the idea of a black version of the Holocaust though so…
But definitely Worldwar, especially since the books did a great job with making both the German and Race characters more than just two dimensional villains. You could genuinely empathise with their mission and flaws.

I'd want Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets to have a big-budget animated film. And not CG - keep it anime style, but with CG only to help with building 3D models, backgrounds etc. The faces never look right to me in CG unless it's like a Pixar film with that kind of cartooniness.
Also, big-budget live action FREEDOM FORCE!

The aforementioned:
Herculoids
Johnny Quest
Thundarr
Freedom Force
Six Million Dollar Man (with Bigfoot and the Venus Probe -- sounds rather kinky!)
How about:
Inhumanoids
Dynomutt and Blue Falcon
Goober and the Ghost Chasers
Robotic (Harlem) Globetrotters
The GI Joe movie with Serpentor just so I could see Sargent Slaughter get revenge on Nemesis Enforcer in live action

Holy crap, that could be good. Only thing is “cross platform” movies have a bit of a spotty record in being successful at the box office
(See League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and Rise of The Guardians). But who wouldn’t want to see Isis, Hercules, and Merlin together
Johnny Quest is really the only correct answer here!
LOL, I remember the original show quite fondly. I also thought Race and Hadji were awesome. but... to be totally honest, this just makes me want to see a

We gotten to a point where it's safe to use Isis again?

A diesel punk Buck Rogers with the original comicbook lighter than air tech, finned rockets and rayguns.
Not going to happen. Most people probably don't know who Buck Rogers is now.
King Kong vs Godzilla. Sure, there's the Japanese classic, but I wouldn't call it big budget. There's also the big budget clip show of fight scenes from Hollywood earlier this year, but I wouldn't call that a movie...
There is Godzilla vs. Kong that has a budget of $200 million which was released in March of 2021. Does that count?

As I said in the post you quoted - "There's also the big budget clip show of fight scenes from Hollywood earlier this year, but I wouldn't call that a movie..." - so no.
That's not a movie, that's some CGI fight scenes interrupted by the most inane and pointless of fillers...
Truth, it's only worth watching as standalone clips uploaded to Youtube, anything more than watching the fights on youtube feels like literally sacrificing a few brain cells to kill time.

In under a year...
I've often thought that it never happened because it could very well win up coming off like a serial killer film.
