I think that Betsy should have been Captain Krakoa instead of Captain Britain from the start of Excalibur.
What about Captian Braddock?

Seeing that picture of Captain Krakoa for some reason Professor X comes to mind. His helmet gives me like a modified Cerebro vibe.

Yes. Larraz and Gracia.

Sad, but true. And you know he will probably be gone and shuffled off to the next project before the book even hits double digits.

It looks like that Marvel Guy from Children of the Atom, I really hope he isn't.

This really should be John Proudstar
It looks like that Marvel Guy from Children of the Atom, I really hope he isn't.
It does, but I think that's just because it seems to be trying to merge the Cyclops and Jean Grey aesthetics (which does suggest chimera of them) and 'Marvel Guy' already does a bit of that (since he can't pull off a mini-skirt, or her gorgeous red mane).

His helm reminds me of an axlotl.

He's in.

Bring back Fantomex.
Edit: Oh wait, we have seen Fantomex this era already, haven't we?
Oh well, make him Captain Krakoa anyway.
Fantomex or Gambit.

I can’t help but feel like seeing that picture and getting an instant feeling of distrust is a product of comic books shaping my preconceived notions. Kinda turning me prejudiced and didn’t even realize it. I wonder how much of our distrust comes from the fiction we consume. And more importantly are the writers aware of the prejudices they inspire or are they just a product of the system
One way or another it's going to end up badly and the X-men will be forced to take him down before he puts everyone in danger.
Rule of thumb, when a brand new hero is presented in fashion of superman with rays of sunshine and cheering crowds, it's a setup to end in disaster/disapointment.
Yeah I could see it ending badly.

It should be kyle or some other human if not darwin. I mean if captain britain is now a muant it seems like fair synergy to have captain krakoa be human, especially since he seems to be based in the tree house.
Heh my phone autocorrects krakoa now.
Edit: rich rider for captain krakoa.

The weird hair/branches on his head is throwing me off.
Screams villain. I agree is probably either a chimera or Vulcan. I'd say chimera over Vulcan because if they sent Vulcan out to be their space cop it would almost immediately cause more problems than it would solve. He's not exactly popular after the whole War of Kings thing.
