So it seems like Leslie Grace hasn't dyed her hair if she's on-set in a GCPD shirt with her normal hair color, so I'm guessing the red hair is going to be a wig?
Looking at photos of her online, she adds highlights to her hair all the time. She might actually have some red highlights in that GCPD photo - but I don't see her going full redhead. Bright red hair is very rare and usually associated with blue eyes and a pale complexion. But there are some reddish brown variations, that don't look like Gordon-red.
There's a full wikipedia article on the topic:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_hair
Some salient points:
"it is associated with fair skin color, lighter eye color, freckles, and sensitivity to ultraviolet light." - that is, almost no ability to tan in the sun, and easily burned.
Red hair is so rare that Barbara Gordon could never have had a successful secret identity with her hair showing. Barbara's red hair on Leslie Grace would be even more rare - one in a million? Probably even more rare than that? Has anyone ever seen that combination? A darker-haired Batgirl in film can more believably keep her identity secret.
I don't think we'll see a Batwoman-type wig. I think we are just going to see a darker-haired Batgirl, maybe with some auburn highlights, and I would prefer a natural look like that to a wig.

They said at FanDome that we're getting the red hair. I wouldn't think they'd put that much thought into it.

Wouldn't be any worse than using CGI to cover up Cavill's porn-'stache on Superman . . .

I'm not sure how practical that is...

The picture is kinda dark and in low quality, but It looks to me that her hair is a dark red.

This is what her hair looked like in the fandome, so she definetly changed:

I hope its Jason Bard! they seem to be combining Silver/Bronze age Babs, N52 Gail Simone Babs and Batman Beyond Babs into one character! Jason Bard being reintroduced as her love interest in a positive way would be nice to see. It makes even more sense knowing Babs works at the front desk as a cop somewhat (according to the leak). So her and Jason would def be seeing each other alot if he also is still a detective/cop.

I have to say -- the red hair is a necessity. Remember Yvonne Craig was a brunette as well!
How are they handling Europe? No HBO Max here.
Peacemaker was released on other platforms so Batgirl will likely be the same.
