They really did feel like a GL trinity at the time...especially during Brightest Day...

Larfleeze is probably jealous.
"Please, Bruce, this is old already" is my response every time I open up a Bat-book these days... :p
Ain’t that the truth. But then, Bruce isn’t one to let go of a good grudge.
Just read of Flashpoint 2 news. I'm always on the lookout for possible titles might pop in. Any chances he might be in it?

Didn't Hal die?

FWIW, he is shown twice on the variant cover of the first issue.

So I just bought the TGL vol. 1 hardcover and there are some interesting tidbits in there. I was hoping it would also collect the various interviews where Morrison spoke about writing Hal but no such luck.

I've missed the New 52 shoulder pads.
Didn't Hal die?
Yeah. For some reason when I saw Thomas Wayne I didn't thought it would be the same Flashpoint universe.
Didn't Hal die?
Didn't that whole universe die? :p

I liked them. On one hand they seemed very 90s, but on the other hand they worked.
FWIW, he is shown twice on the variant cover of the first issue.

I need this Todd Nauck art...

Doubt it but perhaps whatever spins out of Flashpoint Beyond might have Hal in it? I don’t think Johns has much desire to write Hal again, he’s become the very thing he swore to destroy: a Bat Stan lol. Been on a Batman kick for a while and seems to just want to use Thomas Wayne Batman.
I think keeping Geoff Johns as far away from Hal as possible right now might be a pretty smart bet. As great as his run was, Johns seemed to actively despise the character by the end.
Old creators returning to characters they did great on in the past rarely works out well. PAD on Hulk, Waid on Flash, Claremont on X-Men, you rarely see the same success twice. I’d rather get someone new on a Hal book and see what fresh ideas they have.
