Aaron is single handledly bringing down Thor and the avengers. I'm sorry i bought the first 20 issues of avengers and it was pretty good until this celestial past million bc bull started. I mean i got about 15 issues total maybe more of thor's current run and it was good until aaron stuff starting to purposefully contradict it which is what made me start to pull away from avengers but this is just getting annoying at this point. It's just too confusing.
I'm just not getting it. I even tried phoenix endsong. It just isn't riveting, mu changing stuff. it's like he is dragging his own name for as long as he can at this point and as long as marvel is okay with it "geeeeeeet mooooooneeeeeey." it's actually annoying cause again it's confusing. These are not great stories no shade on anyone enjoying them but i don't see any passion about these stories one way or the other.
Too many writers want to graft their own canon onto a series so that they can pretend it was vital work. Aaron is by far the worst
I hope the end of Aaron's Avengers run is also the end of him writing Thor in any significant capacity.
Hoping he doesn't touch anything Thor adjacent either because he'll find a round about way to **** on Thor if he can.

he announced in his substack a while ago that after this he's pretty much done with monthly books and is moving to creator owned stuff.
i still love his old stuff but man has he lost a step with the avengers

Yeah, I think he's said about all he has to say about the Marvel Universe at this point.

Didn’t really have much to say, did he?

Well, depending on who you ask :p.

I'll give Aaron this.
He managed to make Scott Snyder's Metal Saga look like a masterpiece. XD

Oh dang, that's a slick burn :p.

...
Thor could use a high profile revival. a fully heroic return that doesn't delve into worthiness or deities-are-all-irrevocably-corrupt subplots anymore.

It's telling that for all the flaws with Snyder's multiverse scale stories and all the evil Batman duplicates like Batman Who Laughs, Aaron is even worse about it ha.

The difference is that most of those Batman were logical extensions of the character.
Aaron's alternate reality characters are...not. At all.
Shoving Thor into an Iron Fist role? T'Challa into a poor man's Superman?
Yeah, that doesn't really work.

But we need to be random to be memorable!
