I honestly can't tell if you're being serious or not.....
And that's terrible.
Well, if you're excited for stuff like this, then good for you.
I'm just too tired of it all. And DC doesn't seem to care about (soon to be former) readers like me because I'm too old for them to waste their time and efforts on and still make money.
Well I buy at least 50 trades per year and atleast a dozen or more singles per month.
The events are a huge interest of mine and I'm happiest when I feel the various stories are all leading to an event... having said that there is certainly enough continuity material that's self contained as well as so much great black Label stuff...
So I get your complaints but I also compare it to old dogs complaining there is nothing good to watch on TV any more even though TV, ie streaming has more stuff then all the last 80 years of TV combined. Finding stuff that you love is hard to find and you gotta try stuff u dont like to find what you do.
Comics are no different, yah I love 90% of what I read but I only read casually as a kid, I'm born 85, so Death of Superman was the first series I read ever... which is also why I'm so into this JL story.
But yah 90s was great time for me and for comics... but I own books from the 70s to present...
Now more then ever I think comics over all are of the highest caliber. Easier to find good stuff. 70s and 80s have some amazing works but most of what came from those decades are so aged out... not really readable.
90s and 00s has bad stuff too.. as does present, but while I love going back and reading classic stories I'm excited for the future... I'm 36 now. Not sure if I'm the target audience...
. . . I'm born 85, so Death of Superman was the first series I read ever... which is also why I'm so into this JL story...
I was born way before then.
And yes, I'm probably old enough to be your father.
Best way to have a "stand in" JL team, and still have all the DC books keep rolling along with not interruption, is to slightly age up and use the YJ characters.thrybare either not being used, or being used very lightly, tim and Cassie have "bit parts" in their families books, but nothing that would stop them from joining, the not really used, Conner and Bart, with some added YJ type characters.
It could be finally be the way to move them forward and make them big league.
Then after the JL comes back, the YJ JL gets thrown to earth 3 where they f if they fight the syndicate
It makes little sense to use the YJ generation when they all have more experience counterparts. Why use Tim when you could have Dick? Why use impulse when you have Wally? Dick already led two justice league teams. Wally was in the league for years. The YJ are in a problematic position when they are no longer the interesting new characters, but they aren't the obvious successors. They could form a team, but none of them makes much sense for the league.
The 5G generation has no experience, but they are all diversity characters and are suppose to be the "interesting new characters" (although most of them are very unsuccessful). I think the best option would be to combine some of them with established legacy heroes, but again, the YJ generation aren't exactly this or that.
Maybe DC could relaunch the YJ book. Or put them as instructors in TTA if they don't want two teen teams.

My point was thar using the YJ characters would leave the individual ongoing series movi g along with no interruptions, which would happen if you went with the most obvious stand ins for the JL. YJ characters don't stop the ongoings, but they do have characters that have been around enough to step up (finally).
And my last point was that they would be shunted to earth 3 when the JL got back, that way they don't get in the way of the actual JL team and the YJ team could stay intact and be somewhere else to shine and could have ppl follow their stories, where they can actually be needed

Actually that is COMPLETELY wrong.
1. Tim and Dick have DIFFERENT abilities and therefore you NEED both of them to fill the position of Batman.
Tim is the much better Detective and much better Engineer. There is EASILY space for both of them.
2. Conner is the MUCH more experienced Hero than Jonathan.
The Team also needs another powerhouse after Shazam and Superman are gone.
Depending on how DC will portray him in future in the Comics he brings also Lex Luthors Intelligence with him, which makes him more powerful than the rest of the League together.
3. Relaunching the YJ Book is COMPLETELY wrong, this is what put them into this position.
Compare Conner,Bart,Cassie and Tim of the Johns TT with the YJ.
In TT they were really close to the JL in terms of powers and experience.
Conner was one of the only Superheroes in all Universes who were able to fight against Superboy Prime.
Cassie was a good leader, Tim also matured and Bart even managed to replace Wally for a while as member in the JL.
Actually best solution is to put them also in the JL, because they are just more experienced, more powerful and more interesting than this new generation.
It would especially be ridiculous to waste Conner again, who is in reality the most interesting Superhero in DC Universe, if he would be finally allowed to mature etc.
The Conner in the Titans TV Series is for example simply the best Character which DC ever wrote.
This Superman, but not being this Big Blue Boyscout is fantastic and the intelligence level with the Superpowers is very scary and powerful.

Wow this Idea DOESNT make ANY sense.
1. It would be sad if they have to abandon their families, loved ones etc.
2. The people on other Earth would then completely forget them and what they did for them etc.
Conner was already an Icon, before Jonathan etc. showed up and he deserves the spotlight.
Sorry, but this is the worst Idea which I have ever heard-I prefer them to just being together with the new characters in the JL, so they can shine together.

I'm seriously disappointed we've got another ho-hum crossover event, anyways [ba-dum tsss]. Nah, my post was just a little tongue-in-cheek jab at the crises DC keeps pumping out. Fret not! But let's be real, I don't think it would surprise either of us if that was the actual title...

1. I have to strongly disagree. You're completely wrong here. Nightwing was an engineer long before Tim was created. He was a detective long before Tim was created. Dick was Batman, both in Gotham and the JLA. He led the Titans, Outsiders and JL. He absolutely doesn't need Tim. Not even a little bit. Their abilities don't complement each other. They are incredibly similar. That's one of the reasons Tim is having such a hard time finding a niche. Right now he's Nightwing-lite, and not in the good sense. He has very little to almost nothing to offer compared to the other bat characters. That's not a good thing, but that's how it is right now.
2. Instead of Conner you could put supergirl or powergirl. Stronger and more experienced. Or even starfire. Again, no reason to use Conner here.
3. The YJ generation really aren't that of powerhouses. They are more of the generation that had the potential to be more, but now would probobly never reach it. And lets face it : Wally, Donna Dick are their way more experienced counterparts and in Wally and Dick's case also much more popular and known . For better or worse, there really is zero reason to use YJ. Moreover, DC can't really age them because the coming of age story now belongs to the 5G characters, and there are already too many other similar characters in the young adults age range.
So the YJ generation probably aren't going to be part of the league. They aren't the most experienced and aren't the new and diverse characters. They just need to find their own path, similar to the Titans, and take into consideration that they'll not be their mentors replacements.
Guess they really are going to do the Time Crisis event from Doomsday Clock
