What a crap writer. What was the point of fusing Cyborg and BB? Why was this necessary? Well its most likely going to get ignored so whatever. This book was terrible.

There was no point and the Cyborg + BB fusion. It only makes sense from a shock value standpoint and if shock value plot developments are rarely good.
I feel like the premise and the title had potential but it was just squandered by execution and other bad ideas.
^This^
The book, itself, was a good idea. It's just that the good ideas stopped at the premise.
To be fair, the story didn't have a promising start.
I disagree because I liked the first 4 issues and the yearbook.

To be fair, the first four issues were at least average and the Yearbook was good. After that, it went downhill really fast.
1st they were calling Matt a Superboy, now they are calling him a Darkseids illegitimate grandson, make up your mind DC and let us know

It's worse when in-story, it's treated as both as these characters (who are already victims of freak accidents against their wills) are being told they should be grateful for this "genius" plan that got the students a deal with S.T.A.R. Labs. and all these characters act like it's not a violation of their free will as an "attempt to save their lives".
I can't see this as anything more than trash.

Sheridan tried way too hard to justify his own bad writing.

I doubt we'll ever find out what Matt is.

howabout him being the child of Jon lane Kent and Grail, would that make DC happy? lol
I disagree because I liked the first 4 issues and the yearbook.
I think in the end of the day he tried to push to many characters and plots into the book.
If he had for example keept focusing on the batpack and the Red X mystery that book might have worked. But it was so over the place.
I mean by the time they revealed who Red X was, I could hardly remember who that kid was.
And Stitch is just icredebly annoying.

Eh. Crossover with Suicide Squad, popular cartoon villain, Shazam.
Man dropped the ball after Grodd.

The idea of Grail having a kid is so gross and cringe, though.
Probably so Slade can cull the Titans during Dark Crisis.
Watch beastboy die and she have enough power to resurrect but not heal his wounds

Now hold up. Williamson is a better writer than Sheridan.
