Too many people treat fandom like a zero-sum game. Almost like there's a limited amount of popularity to go around, so they have to dislike Column A to enjoy Column B.

Other than a few truly bad movies, comic and sci-fi fans should be ecstatic about all the fun movies being released. Not to mention the shows on TV
I know I'm enjoying it.
This was a rough read for me. Like i'd read a page and go do something else and come back.
It isn't a BP story at all. It is Kirby drawing with Panther thrown in just because.
I guess the mind clearing thing is kinda a feat?
My biggest problem is that neither Little or Zanda are likeable and i don't know why T'challa is hanging otu with them other than a sentence about Azzuri. And he is "friends" with Little? Eh...
In regards to Zanda, T'Challa like em thick lol ;)

Particularly because Little is explicitly referred to as a friend and not just someone who knew Azzuri.

Didn't Panther gain telepathy during Kirby's run? What happened with that?

Zanda from Hudlin's run with a development arc to make her like his black car or cat woman? I'd get behind that

I agree with all three of you. You don't have to knock something to make what you like better.

Don McGregor, essentially. Although Priest referenced it with "Happy Pants Panther" during his run. I don't believe Hudlin ever did.
(Theoretically, Coates' "soul stalking" ability might also be related. he's never said.)

Reminds me of Cap's super strength that sorta just disappeared, back in the day (I only know about it because of Avengers Forever, lol)

I hope we get to see more of T'Challa's genius intellect in Avengers#4 or Black Panther#2.

^ Until he gets his memory back, it seems unlikely that Black Panther #2 will show genius intellect.
Didn't Panther gain telepathy during Kirby's run? What happened with that?
It gets addressed shortly after. The plan is to keep going after Kirby leaves the book at least until the series was cancelled (and possibly the three issues after in Marvel Premiere) so I'm looking forward to discussing both the original story and how it gets retconned away.

I don't think Hudlin did, to my knowledge, but he did obviously reference other parts of Kirby's run. It's been a long time since I've read Priest's "Happy Pants Panther" story, but I'd love to see how well it really fits.

I suspect he's referring to the movies. :D

Priest's solution was... unique. Suffice it to say that there's a perfectly valid reason why the characterization doesn't fit what came before or after in publication order.

At a minimum they should push the concept of them being former or past lovers imo
