Like Priest & Hudlin, the MCU is using the original Lee & Kirby concepts & visuals.
Folks need to look at the BP's first appearance in the FF issues as proof.
I will be glad when the CGI uses Kirby dots.
If Lupita is Nakia then she's going to be obsessing over T'Challa and trying to scheme how to eventually marry him, eventually leaving and being disgraced.
If Killmonger survives this movie, I'd assume she joins him at the end or in an after credits scene.
Depends if/when Monica arrives on the scene, if even in the first film.
nah Feige and Disney aren't about that life. Just like T'Challa, Nakia is a first and unique role for Marvel/Disney. They won't squander it with such a cliche trope.
What studio outside Marvel has so much black talent on the payroll?
I have accepted DC not caring about John Stewart. Yeah, a younger Idris would kill it as GL.
Looking back, it was a bad move for Idris to play Heimdall. So very glad the Tyrese saga is about done. WB sucks at casting, but they did right by not hiring him.
I would rather see Idris play Blade, honestly. That way, he can keep is British accent, and stay on the Marvel side.
But enough of that, BP in mainstream media is absolute heaven.
I stopped giving Marvel comics my money when they kept with the non-inspiring BP.
T'Challa is a king, not some sad-sack.
Thank goodness the film side is getting my all-time favorite his due.
Heimdall hasn't done a whole lot in the marvel movies thus far, but for what it's worth I'm actually expecting that to change in this movie. That of course may be naive of me, but I think he'll get a bit more action this time around.

If anything maybe they can spice things up on the movie side of thing and actually revamp Monica to become Malice.

Yeah, that could theoretically be a fun twist if they can make her somewhat of a credible threat. Maybe give her sonic scream or something because she's a singer.
The Only thing I don't like about movie Shuri is, in Avengers Infinity War she will be upgrading tony stark with wakandan tech.
That should not happen, or T'Challa shouldn't allow it.
Yes it shows how advanced Wakanda is and how smart she is but...yea

If we're talking about an end of the world situation, then I'm sure T'Challa will be more than fine with upgrading the Avengers with whatever tech that might help them. Thanos getting the Infinity gems is a potentially legit end of everything ... nothing will take priority over shutting him down.
And if it allows Shuri to really shine, all the better.

Their is Little Doubt in My Mine Now that Black Panther, as well as Thor: Ragnarok, but Mostly Black Panther, especially after see this Trailer is Going to be the NEW Standard for Marvel and Comic Book Movies in General! ;)
MAGNIFICENT, Every Frame and Shot of this Movie is a Masterful and Marvel has Upped Its Game Beyond what I have seen before. The cases is Huge and yet they are making it Works so well with such a new cast. The Use of Color is Right Their with how a Live Action Version of a Comic Book should look and the Nation of Wakanda is Beyond Amazing!
Happy for Every Black Panther Fan and for Myself as a Proud Fellow Marvel Fan and Rising Black Panther Fan, this is the Movie he Deserves!

They did seem to take some concepts From Stelfreeze as well. The Kimoyo beads and the Force push. I say they are his design's and not Coates because Stelfreeze actually created done interesting designs

The dream is dead :(
Idris as Blade tho? That could work!
Like... holy shit!
And yea, I haven't bought a BP book since issue 7 or 8 of season 1, gotta put my money where my mouth is. I haven't bought a DC book in years... nor will i pay to watch another DC movie (tho I heard Wonder Woman was good). But i'm getting off topic again lol.
At this point we don't even need the comics. Cinematic movie, lego movie, animated tv show... we are one video game franchise a way from the comics essentially being obsolete for the full BP experience! (and it virtually will be already)
no Idris is fantastic but not for Blade, unless your going back to more of a Tomb of Dracula inspired version.
DC has to fix Cyborg before they even think about taking on Jon Stewart or Mr.Terrific in live action.
why are you all bringing up Monica?
BP flicks got Lupita and a phenomenal cast of other actors and actresses. Wy can't we just have nice things.
Also for those still reading the BP books, anything worthwhile that might make it into the movie?
Some people can't stand #wakandanlove
Something about hidden agendas and whatnot. They'd rather him be with an American woman so they can complain he only likes foreign women.
It's like a fat kid getting teased by bullies for being fat then he gets into shape and those same bullies say they liked him better when he was fat. WTF!?
But that's alright, because I believe in physical fitness and healthy eating.
And I believe in having nice things like Lupita Nyong'o as Nakia Nyong'o aka the black queen love interest of Wakanda! Bast bless

Yea, they ain't dong that ish. lol
In the trailer she's dressed up as a Dora and fighting Golden Jaguar Killmonger while Shuri is trying to blast him with her Panther Gauntlets.
Will she die? Will she survive? Will T'Challa's first love find her way back to his arms!?
Find out in the next titillating episode of Dragon Ba- er, Black Panther, coming out February 2018!!!
I can't wait :o
