Any body think Wanda vision in the back is some kind of wink to the fans.
I wonder why tgey are all facing off honestly.... what is the macguffin team cap wants that team stark is defending?

Could be, since war machune is pre ass beating

Zemo might of got them all together so to speak
I guess the rosso's were not lying about the CGI on Panther's suit

It looks more finished than the last trailer
Not enough Panther in that trailer. That Mask is beast though.
So is Rhodey gonna die or What cause id he dies its a waste of potential by doing that, especially when they gave held him back as it is and not let him form into his own useful character.
Also that mask looks Sick

Probably not. If someone is gonna die, they're not gonna put it in the trailer.
In the glimpses we've seen of him, man... visually they've nailed Black Panther's suit. The epitome of badassery! Even the toys, like the ones on the last few pages, just sick! Major props to the design and cgi team. I'm hyped!
I don't think Rhodey's going to die, just hospitalized and put out of commission probably 2/3rds to 3/4ths into the movie (that's my guess) so to heighten the final act of the film between Stark and Rogers. A shame regardless, as he hasn't had much going for him in the movies or books the last couple + years... up until this recent Bendis run perhaps. well, assuming he's not just being pampered up so they can kill him off in CW 2 just to make Carol vs Tony have more meaning.
What's funnys and glorious is that tonight Marvel did a thing where anytime you hashtag Blackpanther it puts the T'challa emoji on your tweet. Also tonight Beyonce did the superbowl halftime show and did something called a "BlackPanther" formation with her dancers so ppl talking about that are also forced to use T'challa's emoji.
Glorious lol

Sadly, Rhodney is actually the perfect person to kill off to ramp up any confrontation between Carol and Stark given his close relationship to both.
Though really, I'm not sure anyone that Bendis killed actually stayed dead so I'm not that worried even if he was killed off.
Same can't necessarily be said for the movies so hopefully he won't be used as a Bill Foster stand in for that one. If they were to kill him off though I don't think they'd show scenes if him being dead since that would almost be too much of a spoiler so I think at worst he just gets hurt.
Probably not. If someone is gonna die, they're not gonna put it in the trailer.
I feel this way too.
Probably not. If someone is gonna die, they're not gonna put it in the trailer.
Or they do it just to mesde with people.. Make us think they won't show him killed off then they do it anyways. But but I dont think he will die as then who ever did it couldn't be considered a hero anymore for offing one
Marvel won't have a hero kill another hero unless brain washing or something is involved.
It is "easy" in the comics to hand wave stuff like that off when you have books coming out monthly and time passes so fast.
Not nearly as easy with movies. People will have years just to let it fester that "Ant Man killed Rhodey, why should I cheer for him?" (just put names in place lol)
The only hero that could potentially kill another one is Bucky. They could easily fall back on the "brain wash trigger" or something. And he does straight up try and murder Stark in the trailer lol. But, having him murder WM would just make Cap's side look.... horrid. They won't do that in a Cap movie.
I don't think anyway lol. Honestly, for a movie that has a comic "template" and we know the gist of the plot... i actually have no idea how this will shake out. I mean, i assume the first opening sequence with Crossbones something goes horrible, lots of people die, leads to the accords... UN or something gets blown up, leads to the hunt for bucky which causes more "pick a side" stuff... but other than that? i got nothing.
I think it's the first main confrontation
Yea, Rhodey is still around in that scene. Probably happens much earlier in the movie.
BP mask looks sick
War Machine is gonna die calling it now
BP mask looks sick

If we're talking CW 2? YEP!
If we're talking the movie? There's a bigger target.
[spoil]Scarlet Witch. There's supposed to be three people in near death situations. One gets really hurt, one gets a no body no death comeback, and the other actually dies. And they record three "death scenes" between Falcon, Rhodes, and SW.
War Machine is clearly the "really hurt" one. I'm hearing the swerve is supposedly Falcon, which leaves the only other person with the death rumor: Scarlet.[/spoil]

I don't think so...

If they are really on a "FU Fox" kick, then SW has gotta go before Fox ends up using her. THey already off'd QS [/spoil]

[spoil]I thought QS and SW were being shared, due to their origins and character history being tied to both X-men and Avengers. Couldn't fox use either of them anyway, regardless of what Marvel does? They do have their own QS after all (a bit of controversy came out of that, of course).[/spoil]

Yes they are being shared. But, like QS, if you promote one, you are promoting the other. Putting them in the movies let's Marvel use them and then kill them off without sacrificing any of "their" people they can make 100% of the money on without sharing[/spoil]

Who knows though. Seems like Marvel is throwing a lot of **** out
[spoil]
because now Rogers is rumored to be murked again by Crossbones and Bucky takes the shield[/spoil]
I just can't imagine Disney pulling a Netflix and start having people drop all over the place.

Wow, if they go that route, the reaction from fans would be...interesting.
Honestly I do think Steve will "die" in the movie just like he did in the comic. Maybe giving Bucky a shot at being Cap for a bit. Or Falcon or whatever.
But that said, I think just like the comic we'll find out he didn't REALLY die. ONe way or the other I see Steve showing up in Infinity Wars 2.
Wow, if they go that route, the reaction from fans would be...interesting.
It would be kind of ballsy IMO. Their template isn't THAT dark. [spoil] there are always deaths in their movies (Bucky, Fury, Coulson, Frigga, Loki, Pepper, QS, ect...of course a lot of them don't last long lol) but this would be... very different and a much bigger deal. murking Cap and SW and semi murking Falcon would be... extreme [/spoil]

[spoil] Well he is confirmed to be filming IW. So he will definitely be back somehow. Whether by the Gems or something.
I would rather Steve somehow fake his death and go underground. in IW2, he comes back with "back up back up" adventures to help lead the second push. People like the Netflix Defenders, maybe coulson, who the **** knows lol. fanboy dreams.... [/spoil]
[spoil]According to Joss Whedon, he was the one who came up with the idea to kill Quicksilver, not Marvel. He claims they didn't want him killing off the character so soon. If that's the case, I don't see it happening.
Plus there's the obvious elephant in the room. You kill one of the black Avengers or one of the only two women, it's gonna come off really bad as a PR move. Especially since they're only just now really starting to diversify their cinematic universe.[/spoil]
Then Marvel has the worst marketing campaign ever. "Let's spoiil a big death in the trailers!!!!!"
I mean comic trailers spoil stuff all the time. I still can't get over how Incredible Hulk trailer was basically like the whole movie. Batman v Superman's latest trailer already spoiled a bunch.
And its not like the plots for these movies were super deep. Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier is my favorite MCU movie its one of the deeper and better directed films, but it wasn't that deep. The big twists we all saw coming. Fury surviving, Bucky being the Winter Soldier, Robert Redford being the bad guy.
I'm more interested in how this differs from the comics and the ideologies at play with Tony and Cap in this MCU setting.

I don't even know what's happening in CW2, I was just talking about the films. I'd be kind of shocked if Falcon or Bucky died. Hawkeyes wouldn't really bother me but Marvel seems to want to keep him around.
Black Widow is safe, like super super safe. I'm pretty indifferent on Scarlet Witch so her death wouldn't be that big for me, but I guess she has her fans out there. Plus killing off one of the only 2 female heroes out of like 10+ male heroes feels wrong.
The twists aren't very original, but they still didn't advertise them. They didn't put a big shot of Quicksilver bleeding out on the floor in the first trailer for Age of Ultron. In fact, a lot of people kept suggesting it was gonna be Black Widow or Hawkeye who would die in the movie.

Wont be as big of an elephant if steve bites the dust too
Plus idk how much i believe wedon. If marvel didnt want it, they would have just said no lol

In a lot of ways I think Steve would be a safe choice to bite the dust, simply because I'm 99.99% sure if he did he'd somehow someway come back.
That percentage drops considerably if a less profile character bites it. I don't expect seeing Quicksilver again, and if hypothetically say Rhodney were to bite it I'm not sure I'd expect to see him again either.

Marvel didn't want the BS with Hawkeye's family either but he had enough clout to get it through. I believe him.
And it may come off as less problematic if Steve dies too but I honestly can not see them killing off one of the grand total of two female superheroes they have. It's needlessly inviting trouble.

Maybe it will finally clear up the timeline and people will use #BlackPantherParty instead. Other than that, yeah, it was -and still is- pretty funny seeing anger tweets at an entirely different subject and then a little cat-face pops up. :D

Funny enough, Stan and Jack got the idea for the name "Black Panther" from the same place that Bobby Seale and Huey Newton got it from. They were only a few months apart.
One of the craziest coincidences to date.

Maybe, but they kind of written themselves into a corner on "who can realistically die"
Can't kill Lang or T'challa because movies are already announced.
Can't kill Stark because money.
Can't kill Vision because of the Mind Gem
So that automatically leaves you with Cap, Bucky, WM, Falcon, Widow, SW, and Hawkeye.
If they plan on killing Cap, that takes Cap and Bucky off the list because Bucky makes the most sense to take the mantle afterwards.
So then you are left with WM, Falcon, Widow, SW, and Hawkeye. Two black guys, two woman, and someone who if they were going to kill, shoulda happened last movie.
The smart choice, IMO, would be to kill WM, just because he has had 3-4 movies and... they really do not know what to do with him in the MCU. But then they already showed him in the trailers so... *shrug*
Moral of the story is: Should have introduced more fodder lol. Where are the Agent of SHIELD peeps out?
I've actually come to like T'Challa a lot. Particularly under Secret Wars. Plus the Marvel Universe needs balance. If there's any character that can keep Marvels orgasm for Doom in check it's T'Challa.
