[Spoil]Sort of reminds me of AvX in a sense. The Avengers go to Wakanda to make a last stand. If the Soul stone isn't in Wakanda, I wonder where else it might be. [/spoil]
[spoil]don't say that, it didn't end well[/spoil]
Eh I'll just wait to see what the final box office Total is,
from China. At this point they are simply a supplemental boost to get BP higher in the billion Mark to beat out CW and IM 3 nothing more

Anybody know how it’s doing in Japan at least?
Anybody know how it’s doing in Japan at least?
The last thing I saw for Japan was a few days ago from Variety that reported that it opened wtih ~$4m for its first weekend and was on track to do about $15m there total (which is above average for a superhero film there).
EDIT: Here it is -
Disney’s “Black Panther” opened second. The film made $2.9 million on 199,000 admissions on Saturday and Sunday. Over four days it lifted that to $4.76 million, putting it on course for a total in excess of $15 million.

What's tuw premise of it?
It's a book that has been made into a few movies before and is REALLY targeting girls.
It is also getting attacked because certain folks take issue with the lead girl being biracial. And that group is getting ready to come out of the wood work towards certain projects where the black female lead is biracial.
From what I have read Ava is not the issue but the script is with folks like Mindy Kapling doing cameos for a check.
If I was Disney I would have tossed this film out on Good Friday or Christmas. There is too much competition for it to do well.
BP still going to hot 1 Billy, that's all I Care about.. for ego reasons:cool:
I'm fresh back from my donation to the Black Panther Billionaire Sweepstakes and as I was watching it for the 4th time I was wondering where I saw Mbaku before and then it hit me...
Mbaku: "T'CHALLA'S ALIVE!!!"
[spoil]don't say that, it didn't end well[/spoil]
[Spoil]Honestly, this probably won't end well as I think for story purposes Thanos pretty much has to get the gem. [/spoil]
Please Feige, improve on the action for the second movie.
Still hoping for the second to be titled "Enemy of the State". Then I will be hyped up.
Yes, as creative as Coogler is his action scenes were lack luster compared to Winter Soldier. Again, Fuqua would have given us a beastly T'challa and better choreography. I assume Coogler is gonna return though so I hope he improves in that area now that his homeboy is supposedly dead and wont be in the sequel.
Coogler did a great Job..
Bay area Stand up

He did a good job. Liek Shuri said though. Just because something works....

Your comparing Tchallas first movie to caps sequel, and BP's action sequences were good only the first scene needed more lightning and the final fight could of went in longer, but all the action sets were great.. I dunno just seems like nitpicks
Long Live the King sucked, not that anybody cared about it.
It's unclear but did T'challas suit get a new ability? It looks like a very light form of telekinesis. There's a bit where rocks are about to fall on him and he stops them in place and shifts them to the side.

He does the same thing when a boy's about to fall into a pit, he stops him in mid-air and redirects him. Maybe it's the art, maybe I'm just seeing things but it doesn't look like a typical force push.

I really loved their relationship. That was one of my favorite scenes.
