My question is how will the reaction be once T'challa (and it's gonna happen) meets storm and falls for her. Will Nakia fans and women in general see T'challa negatively. It's gonna be some Empire Tv show level drama.
Disney may have X-Men back, but I wouldn't expect to see mutants in the MCU any time soon.
I've seen some talk online about Black Panther "underperforming" overseas. This is frankly just silly, and is just people comparing its overseas numbers to its domestic, where it is overperforming. In case any of you end up in a discussion with someone espousing that nonsense, here's a little bit of data for you to use:
International Sans China (total with China)
Avengers: $809,155,078 ($895,455,078)
Age of Ultron: $706,287,826 ($946,397,826)
Iron Man 3: $684,597,258 ($805,797,258)
Civil War: $564,425,629 ($745,220,146)
Black Panther: $450.1m ($516.6m) (estimates as of 03/11/2018)
Batman v Superman: $447,505,360 ($543,274,725)
Homecoming: $429,684,895 ($545,965,784)
Ragnarok: $426,605,304($538,831,458)
Suicide Squad: $421,746,840 (did not have run in China)
Deadpool: $420,042,270 (did not have run in China)
Days of Future Past: $397,451,241 ($513,941,241)
Guardians 2: $373,279,690 ($473,942,950)
Winter Soldier $338,877,695 ($454,497,695)
(Black Panther’s sans China numbers have beaten the international (with China) totals of all other MCU/X-men/DCEU films)
Probably the same people who wanted to discourage people from going to see and to give it negative reviews before it was widely released. They're just shouting at a Cat 5 billion dollar hurricane.

T'chadwick and lupita already answered that storm bit in an interview. Mcu Storm ain't going to be riding any coat tails from BP. And that's a GOOD thing. The comics need to move on too. Tchalla being hung up on storm is getting old

Exactly. They are going to have to build up the X-verse first. Find actors, directors, time to shoot, venues, release dates, etc. That will take some time.

Last I heard the deal still needs approving so it's too soon to expect Storm anywhere near T'Challa.

I think the biggest hurdle will be integrating mutants into existing canon, and if the benefits are worth it.
I hope that the X-movies get straightened out, and frankly, stay in their own canon. A scene with say, Captain America saying hey to Wolverine isn't worth it if it undermines stories like Logan or Days of Future Past, where the movie has to answer 'Okay, mutants are screwed but what about the avengers, etc, etc?'

Kevin Feige will also have to ask himself how will the mutant story will fit into the MCU. We've seen how bad it is in the MU, do we want to see that kind of mutant hating, racist public in the MCU and how will the other heroes react to them.
If it's the typical X-fare, no thank you for me.

I think it would be a little more extreme version of how Jessica Jones and Agents of Shield deals with supers.

Movie is SECOND PLACE in BEST selling domestic film for comicbook adaptation! If this film overtakes the Avengers in domestic sales then I can see a lot of racist committing mass suicides. If Black Panther is not considered an A-lister after this...

After this? Fam, there’s no denying he’s an A Lister right now.

Now the character has MORE leverage in Marvel. It will be much harder for writers to screw him over and we should expect him to be all over the place when it comes to comic book appearances.

It does work on MCU Disney. And frankly I fond X-Men offensive. Like white people want to romanticize struggles Black Americans face and use that to make up a bunch of white heroes for it while Ironically make Black mutants second class citizen treatment in the x books while being doubly treated poorly by everyone else. Or Making a obviously Black Character racially ambiguous and then try to play games like " amalgamation of all races" or "above race"..
Yeah no

Interesting note, of the top 20, only Sony's Spiderman opened in less theaters then BP, most have 100-400 theater's over it yet BP still crushed the competition. In the UK some people have said that the advertisement for BP was alot less then other movies yet it still crushed the competition. China had bad word of mouth yet it still had a Solid opening, just barely under Spiderman.. and yet slm of this and BP still hit a billion and is going to overtake all th other super hero solo movie's record's

These racist fans have been SOOOOO quiet these past weeks. :D
Black Panther is like the Lion King of Superhero films. Like I said if this passes Avengers in domestic sales...

The mods and posters on CV have been trying to kill out the the feats this film has achieved by locking/merging threads.
