What was the reason for this particular setting?
I plan to get it, but I am just weirded out right now.
I've never been a fan of Acuna's art.
Coates is still driving his "Monarchy is Evil" directive so...and much like his previous stories...interesting premise but OGAWDTHEEXECUTIONISALLKINDSOFSUCK!!!
HARD PASS.
Acuna's art is great for space Black Panther

I don't think we know yet exactly. He seems to be starting off in the middle of the story. I imagine we'll get flash backs filling in the blanks.
Namor calling the terms favorable was pretty much all the info we got.
Well, if we can't trust the hot headed Barbarian king to be gracious, who can we trust?

Yeah, I thought it looked cool. It feels very dynamic to me.

I feel the same way. I'll be checking it out.
Atlantis didn't offer favorable terms to Wakanda. The only favorable terms would be if Namor offered his head in surrender
The same head that he eventually lost to the Squadron Supreme. (Deservedly so.)
T'Challa stays losing on the retribution tip.
I agree but you guys need to let go of that one page of "rape camps!'" that was like in the second issue of the first book and never mentioned again for all your eternal critiques about Coates.
Why?
Because you say so?
I can bring up Coates nonsensical introduction of Rape Camps into the BP Mythos, whenever I feel to.
I'm not sure why that should be something of a problem for you?
-
Because you're the one extrapolating it as something systematic throughout Wakanda and ignoring the context of the issue in order to attribute to Coates something that isn't there.

[B] Except Coates made it a point to pretty much do exactly that. How is it taken out of context? Issue 2, 3, 10 and issues 5 in BP WoW talk about it, and it didn't appear to be something non an isolated area. Coates drove the point it didn't just bring up that day and T'Challa hadn't gotten to it just yet. Hell Issue one also drives this point too because the whole reason Ayo was going to be executed.

When you reading Kirby?

Maybe it's just me but the Intergalactic Wakanda stuff reminds me a little of of the Principality of Zeon from Gundam. I'm behind in BP so I'm not sure what happened to lead to this.

Nothing. There has been no real lead in at all.
We got I think one panel of a spaceship going to space in Rise of the Black Panther during T'chaka's reign

How did you come to such a ridiculous conclusion?
Everything Coates has written thus far in the BP solo book, has been to the detriment of the overall BP Mythology with the Rape Camps being the most visually jarring and counter to said mythology point blank.
This writers reckless usage of stereotypical and frankly speaking, white supremacist/racist tropes to reduce Wakanda to Third World status, has been called out by some readers and critics alike who haven't over indulged in drinking Coates patented brand of Koolaid so it should be obvious that Coates hamfisted approach to writing BP centered stories doesn't resonate with actual BP enthusiasts as opposed to johnny come lately hipsters or readers who just can't think outside if the box.

Thanks my bro.
Some folks just choose to see whatever and then go on to make ill informed arguments that have no basis in logic.
