..this is gonna go over well.
My hope is that BP remains in theaters through the Infinity War release. I suspect there are moviegoers who didn't see BP for whatever reason. Given a good showing by T'Challa in Avengers IW, those moviegoers are likely to rethink that decision and go back to catch the BP movie.
There's pretty much no chance that Disney has theaters remove Black Panther that early (at least in the US). Black Panther was #4 this weekend and will likely still be in the top 10 (or just pushed out) by the time Infinity War opens. Also, Infinity War's opening weekend will be Black Panther's 11th weekend. MCU releases have typically lasted around 18-20 weeks.
Looking at the release schedule we have 8 new wide releases coming.

Rampage
Borg vs. McEnroe
Sgt. Stubby: An American Hero
Truth or Dare
04/20/2018
I Feel Pretty
Super Troopers 2
Traffik
04/27/2018
Avengers: Infinity War
So Black Panther at the most would fall to the #12 or #13 spot. But I'm not expecting Super Troopers 2, Borg vs. McEnroe, or Traffik to open particularly well or hold, and really the only lock to me would be Rampage, because of how well Dwayne Johnson does at the box office. I would not be surprised if Infinity War's opening weekend looked something like this:
1. Avengers: Infinity War
2. I Feel Pretty
3. Rampage
4. Sgt. Stubby
5. A Quiet Place
6. Ready Player One
7. Blockers
8. Truth or Dare
9. Black Panther
10. I Can Only Imagine
Somebody call an exorcist. Lol
At least they were nice enough not to put black panther name on the cover.
I honestly don't know what to say. Who is writing? I'm skeptical.

If I'm not mistaken, this is the continuation of the Dora Milaje story that Nnedi Okorafor is doing. It's bouncing between books.

any info on why the xmen are there?

It's a crossover with various franchises. One is for X-Men, another for Spider-Man and a third unannounced one.

That looks fun. Nice to see the DM getting more love.

I'm hoping the Avengers get one too.
To add a little more to my post about BP being in theaters when A:IW opens, here's a look at Marvel's past release lengths:
Iron Man - 22 weekends (overlapped with The Incredible Hulk)
The Incredible Hulk - 12 weekends (The Incredible Hulk fell fast, and Iron Man was actually in theaters later than The Incredible Hulk was)
Iron Man 2 - 15 weekends
Thor - 16 weekends (overlapped with Captain America: The First Avenger)
Captain America: The First Avenger - 16 weekends
The Avengers - 22 weekends
Iron Man 3 - 19 weekends
Thor: The Dark World - 23 weekends (overlapped with Captain America: The Winter Soldier)
Captain America: The Winter Soldier - 20 weekends (overlapped with Guardians of the Galaxy)
Guardians of the Galaxy - 22 weekends
Avengers: Age of Ultron - 23 weekends (overlapped with Ant-Man)
Ant-Man - 22 weekends
Captain America: Civil War - 20 weekends
Doctor Strange - 19 weekends
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 - 20 weekends (overlapped with Spider-Man: Homecoming)
Spider-Man: Homecoming - 21 weekends (overlapped with Thor: Ragnarok)
Thor: Ragnarok - 19 weekends (overlapped with Black Panther)
Black Panther - 8 weekends and counting
There's no precedent for Marvel to take Black Panther out early, especially when its making this type of money.
Marvel is just trolling me hard at this point. This is worse than Peter and MJ trolling

Lolol I feel like I'm being trolled as well. I really want to embrace this with open arms. I need for this not to be a troll job. Seriously.
..this is gonna go over well.
Everything is about right for an X-titled book. Storm pointless splashed on the cover to tease diversity of mutants while hiding the fact that if she's included then she'll be jobbed for sure. More importantly is referring to African nation with no black male mutants, or even black males in site serving in any true capacity. So, yeah not even sniffing this sure to be a sack of something special. Harsh...well yup, just like x-history with black males.
There's so much to appreciate about the movie. But subsequent viewings only drive home the point that some people could not be more wrong about T'Challa taking a backseat to his supporting cast. I mentioned before how his cast and the narrative all seamlessly revolve around him. It's so apparent. People mistake the rays of his blinding sunlight for their misfortune of not truly seeing him.
On the contrary.
Some of us have the ability to call things as qe honestly percieve things without feeling the need to throw dissenting viewpoints under the bus.
Read Rise of the Black Panther #4 and MAN... This is how you write a T'Challa. Loved the dialogue between T'Challa and Dr. Doom.
