And that is fine but the execution in my honest opinion didn't sit well with me.
Because you are looking at it as purely a black panther fan and ignoring the whole movie.
That "moment" in the movie was 90% for Thanos, 10% for Wanda/Vision.
He was Darth Vader. And you are worrying about the inconsequential soldiers screaming "OPEN THE DOOR OH GOD ADLSKJASLKDJRRRRGGASDFKLJS" lol
Personally, the execution of the scene was BRILLIANT. I get chills each time I hear that music and he teleports in. the theater was DEAD silent when that happened. We knew are all favorite heroes were FUCKED.
And then Thor saves the day to thunderous applause... noooooooo why didn't you aim for the head! noooooooooooooo what just happened....

I'd be shocked if Black Panther doesn't have substantially more to do in Avengers IV. Marvel knows what they've got with that franchise now, and despite them wanting Captain Marvel to lead the next generation of the MCU, Black Panther is already doing it.
As for Infinity War, at least he didn't get played like Any-Man and especially Hawkeye. Hell, Jeremy Renner didn't even get to be in Mission Impossible because they were worried about it conflicting with Avengers, so he lost out twice.
Maybe he should have asked them to airbrush him in while they were doing fake Hulk scenes.
I actually like that idea. Also if others were able to see Killmonger embrace the sunset and still offer that final line it would have resonated with Wakandans long after his death.
It would leave just the right amount of tension or thought that people might still want to follow his beliefs.
This is probably just me, but I see Killmonger as being shady.
I would have rather T'Challa expose the fact he was in league with Klaue, and popped his own lover like it was not big deal.
I just saw him as hurt little boy who would have caused a lot of bloodshed over his daddy issues. Yes, he was wronged, but a lot of people catch bad breaks in life.
This might be where T'Challa losing his father as an adult, rather than a child kinda hurts.
BP losing his dad as a child, yet not succumbing to trauma while Killmonger went "burn it all" would have been a better way to compare & contrast the two.
But hell, BP was only king for less than two weeks, plus he just lost his dad.
I'm just happy he freaking killed him with no tricks, gimmicks, or accidents.
Just a well executed, well timed, move resulting in a spear to the gut.
After showing mercy to Zemo, I was very afraid they were going to turn T'challa into a full on "too honorable to kill" king.
I could be wrong, but I think this is the only adaptation where T'Challa has actually defeated Killmonger straight up.

Iron Man Annual #5
Over the Edge #6
whether those are the "real" Killmonger is up to debate of course since in the annual he was ressurrected by Mandarin and in Over the Edge he was resurrected by Klaw.
I'm not sure when a "resurrection" counts as real or not lol

No mercy from T'challa! triple hit combo with the damn executioner finisher!
Gillis is underrated!
I wish this level of fighting prowess was emphasized in the current books.
T'Challa clearly improved his fighting skills after Panther's Rage.

I need to reread Iron Man Annual #5. IIRC, Mandarin removed his "gift of life" to Killmonger before T'Challa could conclusively beat him. I believe BP was on the verge of winning, though.
I never read Over the Edge #6.
It seems Priest & Hudlin went with the 70's version of Killmonger always getting the better of T'Challa.

Wakanda was treated badly in IW. Lets hope for less racism in the next Avengers films.

Treated badly? Everywhere Thanos' army went got wrecked. Wakanda just has to replant some grass. Lol

I would guess he'll get more, but not substantially more.
If the next Avengers movie is essentially about the original Avengers walking off into the sunset, I'll wager the spotlight will be heavily on them.
I'm sure there will be somewhat of a passing of the torch to people like T'Challa and Captain Marvel, but I think it'll essentially be Cap, Thor, Iron Man and Hulks movie more than anything else.

Yall are making way too many excuses for him in Infinity War. Sounds like how people were after The Force Awakens about Finn. "He'll be better in next one."
Again thank goodness for Civil War and Black Panther. Cause if this was his first real appearance I wouldn't see a franchise for him. EVERYONE got a moment, but him.
His only moment was him outracing everyone and even then it was a tracking shot showing Captain America catching up with him, lol.

That's actually the point. Ryan Coogler specifically said (before we all knew the story details) that T'Challa lost his father as an adult instead of as a kid so that's a different thing. You get to see how two people process things differently because of their situation.
T'Challa actually has the support as an adult, Kilmonger had no support as a child. Its kind of like Batman/Joker (from Killing Joke) in a way where one has the support to still use his power for good and how one bad day can shape someone else down the wrong path.

What is blacksonic talking about? Wakanda made it out better than New York and Knowhere.
