Wakanda you look like this but better if not, then there won't be anything exciting about wakanda. Below is wakanda from the avengers alliance online game

M'Baku is going to be one character that needs a complete overhaul( been saying this for years ) as he represents a huge visual problem that might get erased or get transformed with another character to become one aka Killmonger
So
Captain America: CW
Black Panther
Avengers 3 (Infinity Wars part 1 & 2)
Black Panther 2 and 3?
I wonder if they are going to treat Avengers as one flick that is split.
I would imagine it would be in the actors contracts that avengers Part 1 and 2 count as two separate movies.
The actors are going to want paid like its two separate movies. They filmed LoTR and many others all in one shot and I am pretty sure it counted PER MOVIE that is released.
So, I would guess, Marvel is either reworking contracts right now or the team is going to be so splintered that a lot of the character won't appear in BOTH movies. For instance, maybe Thor doesn't come back from off world until Part 2 because he is still dealing with the effect sof Ragarok. And ect. I would assume most of the new cast would appear in both but I bet a lot of the old guard will only appear in one or the other.
So, I would probably guess that its more like...
Captain America: Civil War
Black Panther
Avengers Infinity War 1
Avengers Infinity War 2
From there, If Panther is received well and such, you start talking sequels. And right here, is when contract negotiations start again. If for some weird reason BP isn't well received.. you can save the last movie for Avengers 5.
I can't even imagine what they'll do for Avengers 5.
So then no more Avengers Movies? Its hard to tell how far they mapped things out when they do contracts.
You don't stop billion dollar franchises.
We still haven't gotten KANG
Masters of Evil
Kree/Skrull War
Secret Invasion
ect
They will either Bond style recast or pony up the money to keep the old guard.
I can't even imagine what they'll do for Avengers 5.
Avengers: THE KANG DYNASTY
Avengers: SECRET INVASION Part 1, Part 2
Avengers: Dark Reign might be fun too.
what's an AfroBeat song that would be good on the soundtrack?
Avengers: Dark Reign might be fun too.
Avengers: World War Hulk
Avengers: Fear Itself
I mean... they can adapt anything they want really. They just have to keep it "fresh" enough that they don't become stale.
Like... after Infinity War it would probably be a good idea not to do another space based villain with an Army lol.
More real talk just for Maj... ;)
Christopher Priest: "What's he doing here?"
Roy Thomas: "I'm also consulting on the final script!"
Jeph Loeb: "I invited him to help work out the details!"
Roy Thomas: "Man-Ape needs more screen time!"
Jeph Loeb: "Great idea let's get on it!"
Anywho...
I hope that they explore the mechanical jungle in the movie to set up how Wakanda stays hidden for all those years!
This was Chadwick in March...
"Let me put to you this way. If it’s character driven, I’ll do it. As long as it’s character driven, I would love to do it. If it’s just you in a suit and you with powers, then it doesn’t interest me, no matter how big it is. As long as it’s character driven, I’m totally into it. If they could figure out how to do Black Panther and make it fit the original or adapt to the times we’re in now and be new and innovative and be character driven and has the sense of what the comic book is supposed to be, but not bound by it, then yes, of course, I would want to do it."

Holy **** we moved 30 pages in 2 days. I love it
I still think Marvel should move the date but who knows that date might end up helping the movie
They could do Atlantis Attacks if they can get the Namor rights worked out.
Avengers: The Korvac Saga.
Avengers/GOTG: Annihilation.

There are so many comic book movies and big budget movies in general these days that you are bound to run into something.
Coming out two weeks BEFORE JL is fine. I would rather be two weeks before a big movie than two weeks afterwards. The two weeks are the most important anyway.
Didn't Thor 2 come out two weeks before Hunger Games? Some sort of thing... did just fine.
They can't have it too close to December because that is when the Star Wars movies are coming out correct?
I want to see M'Baku in the film simply because I'd love to see their past friendship fleshed out more. We've always been told that they were close friends originally but we've never actually been shown that.
That's just too good of a story to pass up on. M'Baku and T'Challa being great friends despite T'Chaka outlawing the Jabari tribe, their eventual ideological split regarding technology in Wakanda, and finally M'Baku turning on T'Challa in order to save his tribe and (in his mind) Wakanda's soul.

That's what I liked about it... they were friends. They can turn it into an Xavier/Magneto sort of thing, which can really help to flesh out the villain in the movie (often that's not done well enough in movies).
They can ditch the Ape suit... a LOT of super villains just wear normal clothes when they transfer to the big screen anyways.

Hmm
Plus the ape suit could potentially lead to some "problematic" implications. Marvel went out of their way to avoid cultural/ethnic stereotypes with The Mandarin, so I'm sure that they'd do the same for M'Baku. "Man Ape" could simply be something that other people call him because of his imposing size/strength and brutal demeanor. But the most likely villain for the first film would probably be Klaw.

In you're next one you should have someone mention Loeb's jurisdiction is restricted to tv only and he has no say in movies

They can just call him M'Baku and leave it at that. In a more realistic movie setting, people don't necessarily need code names or costumes. Comic fans can know it's man ape, like how comic fans recognised Crossbones in Winder Soldier even if the regular movie goes didn't.

Marvel still hasn't truly revealed the Mandarin. They've made it clear that he does exist and it wasn't the guy in Iron Man 3.
Obviously they'll have to ditch the Man-Ape name. I Think the costume can be salvaged depending on how it's done, but even that's not necessary. Avengers: EMH revamed the costume in such a way that you can barely tell that's supposed to be a gorilla he's draped in. That "classic" costume can't be save though.
It's also not something that would appear in the first film. M'Baku doesn't starting wearing that habit (because that's what it is) till he fully embraces his jabari heritage and turns on T'Challa (which would happen in a later film).
The cartoons were not afraid to use him...

few things abouut that..
1) I REALLY REALLY REALLY want to see the Dora confront Captain America when Cap first meets/encounters T'challa. Just to show how formidable the Dora all.
2) The beating of the chest is not cool lol
3) That costume just needs to be updated a bit but is fine. Remove the head piece and im good. The Head piece can just be a ceremonial
thing

please marvel, Make wakanda like this

M'Baku should just wear a white gorilla pelt sort of like King Jaffe Joffer's lion pelt sash. It's enough of a nod and can be used to suggest his prowess without completely draping him in an ape motif.
Maybe have him get some sort of white gorilla blood smeared on his face as a part of a ritual.
Actually the way I'd love to see Wakanda was how Pascal Ferry imagined it in that issue of A+X.
I wish I could find scans of it, we only saw it briefly but I fell in love with his interpretation of Wakanda instantly.

I just found his uncolored page of a Wakandan dock by Ferry that has some buildings in the background:

Ferry gave Wakanda a very Afrofuturist vibe IMO.
Let's address some controversial issues before they go viral...
Having the Doras fight men like Captain America may not sit so well in the Ray Rice era where domestic violence against women is under intense investigation... While they are at it they may want to gather up all the loose copies of Black Panther and Storm's "Annulment of The Century" hand to hand combat duel and troubleshoot that ASAP in anticipation of that topic coming up pretty soon by certain feminist groups who don't miss a thing!
One can assume that other than Chadwick, Hudlin, Djimon and a few random African background extras there will probably be more white people on the production side of the movie making set so it may be best not to have a character like Man-Ape available so that none of them have a random flashback reminding them of their card carrying Fanbratti membership... If it's something that needs super duper troubleshooting to get it across then it is probably not worth it in the long run at least for this particular movie!
Any writer that uses a copy of Doomwar as reference material needs to be fired and escorted from the set immediately... Pyrrhic victories in a super hero movie are not exciting and very anticlimactic so their should be no doubt when the end credits are rolling that fans don't have an empty feeling in their stomach after it is all over!
The obligatory Obama moment... At the time of Hudlin's Black Panther run President Obama was ever so popular as the first black president but some polls are showing his approval ratings are on the decline and trying to stick him up in there with a cameo may or may not help sell the movie at this point in time but that is a call Hudlin will have to make on the fly!
Also... With all the beheadings going in the middle east it may be best not to show impaled heads on spears even if they are Nazis because with a name like T'challa (Rhymes with Allah) and the obvious Black Panther name associated with a radical black group in a fictional nation not necessarily a friend of the United States (Axis of Evil anyone) this could be the difference between a packed movie theater of fans or one full of crickets chirping!
Ebola or any other cure for real life diseases is probably not a great idea to tease with if by 2017 much of the African continent is quarantined... A lot of hate was directed towards Wakanda for having better medicine and not sharing it with the rest of the world and at this point it will not be a good look no matter what the reasons may be for withholding something like that even in a fictional setting!
Buck Naked Black Warriors... At the very beginning of the 10,000 year undefeated nation's rise this may be okay but if by the sliding timescale version of 2017 they are still half adorned with breasts out in 3D and Prince Purple Rain type butt out loincloth gear you lost me for good! Lol
Technology... You cannot reload a spear once it has been thrown and still remain unconquered for 10,000 years with automatic weaponry spraying 100 bullets a second all over the battlefield it just doesn't happen so lose the old school ammo for upgraded lasers and stealth projectile explosives!
Do You Speak Wakandan... Get a linguistics expert to study African languages because after 10,000 years to be speaking the King's English language is a plot loophole bigger than Godzilla and makes them seem already colonized and not even knowing it yet!
Stereotypes... LOOK I just want to go to the theater and enjoy a great flick not have Al Sharpton blocking the theater with crowds of protesters because you failed to edit out and delete stuff that never needed to be in the movie in the first place!

I've been playing Marvel Heroes again because of this announcement. It's atually pretty fun to run around as Panther with Falcon as my side kick. It's a sweet team.
In my head Wakanda would look like african Star Wars. Technojungle with futuristic technology (robotics animals, hovercrafts, etc), iron age weapons made with advance resources (Vibranium), Dora Milaje would look like rebels (in star wars) and Hatut Zerate would like like Stormtroopers.
