Not even She-Hulk? :( And I seem to recall Tony Stark hitting it as well.

She-Hulk is the thristiest one there is.
I keep hearing about Panther's light armour and thrice blessed armour, but what do they actually do that make them more powerful than his regular vibranium suit? Like do they have any cool feats or anything? Does anyone know some issues which they appear in that show how powerful they are? I'm just getting into Black Panther so I have no clue where to begin with looking at his cool tech.
The more I think about it, I'd be down with Black Panther... ahem "Teaming up" with She-Hulk. Not forever but for a while.
Also, they both have Fantastic Four ties so they still sort of exist in the same sphere of influence, while not being directly tied to the FF and thus suffering under the Fox/Marvel split.
Now that you mention, it would be extremely interesting to see Black Panther date She-Hulk.
Would be fun to read, if done right.

I'm not entirely sure Jen is all that interested in "dating "
That said, she's a fun combo with almost anyone.

Cool to see Vibraxis and possibly some of the Wakandan meta's from the Hunt. I wonder if Coates is bringing tell school back. That might be cool.
I don't know... that sort of makes the super heroines sound like they're in high school or something. Having super heroes brag about their sexual conquests with each other just comes off as sort of juvinile, for a lot of characters at least.
Though maybe we'd see it under Bendis.
It works for some characters, but not for others. I like to think of T'Challa as a bit more mature and sophisticated. I don't want him to be celibate, but I don't want him to be a man-hoe either. There's a way to do mature sex and relationship in mainstream comics, but some writers go for the cheap laffs or bad melodrama.
Nope, not even She-Hulk. And, everybody knows... she will.
I like She-Hulk a lot, but why would T'Challa even think of her in that way?
I like She-Hulk a lot, but why would T'Challa even think of her in that way?
Because she's a super fine giant, who based on years of story is totally cool with being thought of "that way".
Plus it's not like she's beat street.
She's a pretty successful lawyer, intelligent, an accomplished hero, trustworthy.
You could do much worse than She-Hulk. Like say Storm for instance.
I like She-Hulk a lot, but why would T'Challa even think of her in that way?
I doubt Jen is the first female hero he'd think of if he's searching for Wakanda'so next queen.
But if he's in 007 mode and looking for a one night stand (assuming that's something he does), Jen's probably one of the first female heroes he'doesn't think of.
And that's not a dig on She-Hulk. She's grown and more power to her, but again... everybody knows... "She-Hulk Smash!"
Oh my God, you are killing me:)
Wait a minute...has T'Challa slept with anyone post Storm? Not flirtations or even just a kiss but straight up horizontal polka?
Other than Luke Cage-what black hero at either company has been seen bed hopping?
Rhodey twice
Falcon twice
Mr Terrific twice
John Stewart four times (never shown with his wife)

Its almost like there's a problem showing fictional black men having a healthy sex life...
John Stewart banged Fatality at one point, didn't he?

So while I definitely think I like the Civil War helm a bit more, I do like that the new mask has the highlights come and create the teeth, creating the sense that the mask is growling.
I remember people were tsk tsking T'Challa upon Coates "revelation" that he apparently doesn't "date" Wakandan women... but now Coogler gives him a Wakandan woman... and now people want a blonde blue eyed white woman to be his love interest instead. :D
Love it!
That pairing is LITERALLY the worst shipping ever. I'm convinced people who champion any sort of T'Challa/Carol romantic plot are trolls

Welp time to start gathering materials to get my Killmonger cosplay on
The more I see of the BP movie the less I have to contemplate the current shambles that drops every month by way of Coates BP disasterpiece of a book.
And that's not a dig on She-Hulk. She's grown and more power to her, but again... everybody knows... "She-Hulk Smash!"
Well, no. There's a huge difference between saying she likes to have sex and she'll sleep with everyone. The latter is a dig on the character.
How about a new original character? It works for other heroes ;)
This could be cool but only if BP and co smacks the Wrecking Crew around a good bit
Years ago there were those xmen multiplayer console games similar to Gauntlet Legends. My friend finished off the Wrecking Crew single handedly with BP due to his stealth power. lol

Why not both?
Why not both?
Liking sex and sleeping with everyone are not the same thing. The former is having a healthy attitude towards sex, the latter is basically having a sex addiction.

Great image. The blue art on his mask briefly reminded me of Blue Beetle.

Well then I guess she (is/was) an addict, it was made pretty clear that She-Hulk conquered a lot of the MU. Bendis sort of did the same thing with Luke Cage, yall remember that awkward scene with that old woman?
BP 16
Middle of the road I guess. I have some notes though.[spoil]
-The new govt. council is smaller than previous tribal councils. lol. Shouldn't there be one person from each of the 18 tribes?
-Ramonda going to have to pick a side. She contradicted herself within a few panels.
- If this is the start of new govt., they are already useless and asking BP for help.
-Agree with MoS about fights. Started good, but then went dumb. Animal senses aren't "spider sense" but still. Ezyo, I think you just won your argument with PAC about dodging vs standing still. lol
-That suit Tchalla wore in the beginning was nice. Need to find one like is ASAP.
-Talk with Thunderball was both cool and boring. It will play well in the woke community, but I could also see it costing him more readers. People similar to Diversity and Comics video guys.
-Gods... we'll see. Still not much of an attention getter[/spoil]

Standing still ONLY works if the punishment you receive falls within the parameters of what the suit can take. That's why I said if you're getting punched by Hulk, you dodge. Against random goons, it's not necessary because the suit will take the damage. The key I suppose is knowing what exactly your suit can take... and I guess we got a better idea of that here.
All in all, this was a "meh" issue.
[spoil] it's nice to see vibraxas back and the portrayals were fine for the most part (well for Coates anyway)
Unfortunately, he's still lackluster when it comes to action and the poetry stuff with Storm wears on you after a while.
And wow, after all that talk about how there needs to be a change in government last season and now the tribal council is already asking T'Challa for help.
On the other hand I am interested in this new God that seems to be popping up. Hopefully, he/she will be a worthy addition to the rogues gallery. [/spoil]
Thought the issue was pretty good. Action was there and story well paced. LMFAO at those that say this was a Storm book. lol. Tchalla got lot of love in this.

And two, T'Challa said it out his own mouth. Storm may not currently be queen of Wakanda, but she will always be tied to those lands. Boom!

Lol this is a Storm title about as much as it is a Jean Grey title. If T'Challa's former queen and close confidant can't appear in his title, then I dunno who can. I'm giving you the side eye, Kyss. They dont hear us, tho. Anywho, hey, my fellow BP fan friends!
Title this month was solid. The plot was advanced the Fenris twins out of commission and now BP knows where QDJ is. Glad we got to see some familiar faces hopefully we see some more. T'Challa really has the gift of gab first the bomber, Chang and Dr. Franklin lol talk about talk no jutsu. Speaking of his appearance it kinda reminded me of Hudlin run with the way he and BP were talking hopefully he appears later in the run he has potential. So now we see where the plotlines connect and curious to see how a former foe will eventually resurface

1.) To your first point, very true! seeing her speak in this manner actually felt very natural and in character to me.
2.) EXACTLY!!!! In spite of how horribly the X-offices handled addressing them after their union, I love the Coates is addressing all the elephant in the room talk that goes on. I hope by the end of all this Tchalla professes to Storm, Wakanda, and the World unapologetically his love for Ororo. AND HEY HEY HEY!!!

I actually loved the dialogue between him and Dr. Franklin. I don't follow the Thunderbolts at all and I not sure if he was referenced to another character as he was in this book, but the way Tchalla was able to connect to him on the level he did was nice to read.
