As said before we've had someone post in a serious manner that Shuri should start a romantic relationship with Namor to bring peace
You may not have known this was said but that is why your comment wasn't seen as a joke
I had no idea someone suggested that. I'm always down with things going outside of convention for a good yarn, but, Shuri is going to try and kill Namor. Bp was always a little more understanding of the whole phoenix force drunk driver thing.
I do think that as a short term thing Emma and Tchalla could work, maybe just for like a 3 ish arc or to the end of Original Sin. It would produce some cool and memorable moments if written by the right person.
Thus it's not a stretch that T'Challa would get a sibling or two
I know everybody hated him, but the whole Werner the white wolf Wakandan secret police thing worked for me. I think if they were used outside of Wakanda as spies with BP's adopted brother in charge I'd give it a read.

I could see that working, and would be pretty cool/interesting. Not all romances need to end in long term relationships, and both are unattached. That said (as cool an idea as that is) it'll probably never happen *le sigh*

The fact that he had siblings wasn't a stretch. The fact that they were never shown or mentioned all this time kind of was.

Unattached??? I haven't read any Xbooks since then first kick ass all female xteam arc with Bishop. Tbh, I'm salty since the marriage dissolved. Scott and Emma broke up??? BP should smash then...

Yeah but there was a reason Angela wasn't seen or mentioned. She wasn't in the 616 and no one knew about her. With Shirk she just sort of appeared out of thin air one day for no reason.

Where has it been established that T'Challa is "a little more understanding of the whole Phoenix Force drunk driver thing?" Or is that jut a figment of your imagination?
And as for either one of the Black panther making moves to kill Namor, I believe Queen Shuri is way too busy rebuilding her nation and looking out for the interests of Wakanda to waste her time on Namor.
On the otherhand, her brother T'Challa is the one who's actually vowed to kill Namor when the matter of the Incursion threat is over o maybe you hould be focusing your attention on the actual Panther who's threatened to end Namor's life.
Shuri's already flattened Atlantis without having to make any bold pronouncements.

So your advocating that it would be cool for T'Challa to have ome sort of dalliance with Emma Frost, the woman who aimed Namor directly at Wakanda during AvX? :smh:

I was basing that on the whole 2 guys at the bar sharing laughs vibe from NA a while ago. Look, I get that right now the fate of the world is more important than vengeance right now, but as time passes its going to stop coming up, Wakanda is never getting her vengeance. We may have to be satisfied with the way Shuri laid waste to Atlantis.

Seems to me Tchalla doesn't know of her involvement at all. Unless they gave him the telepathy back and nobody told me. I guess I'm just more interested in a story where they're together and Tchalla finds out about her involvement during their dalliance. Storm comes through and we get to see an ultimate mixed tag match resulting in the death of Namor and lighting bolt labotomy of Emma.

Emma and Scott broke up at the end of AvX (after Phoenix Scott choked Phoenix Emma close to death). They are still really great friends in Uncanny X-men though; they have a mutual respect and love for one another that makes it work as a friendship of utter trust.

Agreed. A little less X-trashing would be muchly welcome in this thread.

Once again, there is zero reason for T'Challa to get into any sort of romantic relationship with Emma Frost let alone any of the X-women.
There are more than enough women in the 616 MU for T'Challa to explore romantic options with at present, so any further attempts to derail T'Challa's forward momentum post AvX are definitely unwelcome.
To date, all attempts to keep some kind of tenous connection between Ororo and T'Challa post AvX have all been confined to the X-books that Ororo appear in.
Jonathan Hickman has not had T'Challa utter her name or make reference to the annulment in any issue of New Avengers to date so it's high time that the X-office just move on since they've gotten their "most prized" character back and leave T'Challa, Shuri and Wakanda alone.

I don't see why T'challa would be with any X-woman period. I mean, how would that be a good look for the character? There are many other characters out there. I prefer someone not connected to the X-verse. I mean with Monica Rambeau, Angela and Boundless (Great Society), etc. Why would we need to take this huge leap to Emma?
I don't think the GS are all going to die. We know that Namor is going Cabal and the NA will break apart. So there is a chance for a new one with a female that T'challa can have something more with. Until then, but just say no to X-ladies.

Some folks only need to get burned once to learn a lesson, others might get it after being in the burn ward
