Nah, I know for a fact Feige is gonna keep Coogler around future films as the BO numbers for this movie get bigger and bigger.
One thing to note, Wakanda as a nation is a little bit too willing to follow it's leaders. The whole Killmonger revolt had to have lasted less than a day.
Killmonger never saw a complete Wakandan Sunrise/Sunset until the end. Plus Ross said he was out like 12 hours.
Wakanda has to have some kind of media outlet right? How did the people find out about the regime change?

I guess via Kimoyo beads.
Speaking of those, I fully expect to start seeing people wearing wrist beads and doing the traditional Wakandan greeting.
My bad about the suit...
Killmonger: "Show me how this works!"
Shuri: "You just threw my brother over the waterfall... HELL NAW!"
Killmonger: "I'll figure it out... MIT represent."
In any case Killmonger walked all up in the RnD department with a Lucius Fox swag and figured out high-tech gear in less than one day like he was Dr. Doom or something!
Have you ever bought something from like Ikea and spent a whole day trying to assemble it without instructions during a full blown revolution!
No trial no error just straight bossing it up as you go along... Killmonger is from Oakland so he favored gold bling over platinum it'a a Mr T thang you wouldn't understand!
If you look at it from a surface level yes it’s a Mister T thang where gold is more beautiful than platinum. However if you look at it from a subliminal viewpoint, it’s a message that instead of blaming someone else for the poverty, how about the people who make it out and start making crazy money look more towards altruistic ways to help people get out of poverty than just showing off you made it. Only person who is going to help is you not someone else.
T’Challa shows one way to do something altruistic with money at the end. He is helping them not by directly giving money, but spending money in ways to make it easier for the people struggling to get out of their situation.
Basically saying the no one else is gonna do anything for your kind, you need to band together and find a way to work as one to help each other overcome the obstacles. Doing things for selfish reasons is going to keep the status quo.
Killmonger wanted to attack isolationism with colonialism strategies. Just because he has advanced tech, doesn’t mean they will end up succeeding. Look at the US and it’s history, how many countries it has divided and continues to do so even though their tech is for more advanced than the countries they theoretically “fought for” for selfish reasons.
Killmonger: "I've been training my whole life for this..."
Killmonger is no idiot!
In his veins runs a Wakandan royal bloodline that on very short notice as a conquering king made himself an alternate colored Black Panther suit day one!
I am not certain how long it took a growing Shuri to get to that stage but Killmonger showed up ready to plug and play like pressing power on a Playstation!
Obviously he was bilingual with an off the streets MIT scholarship and a decorated military veteran of the highest order... If Ross knows who you are by face in black ops then you are upper echelon!
As far as other potential threats to a war with Wakanda as a child in 1992 he saw a spaceship above the projects he was living at and later joined the military making him well aware of every other nations potential combat readiness and technology!
If he is an elite American special forces soldier he already knows what capabilities Russia, China or Latveria would have in play!
According to MCU canon a vibranium shield deflected Thor's hammer in the first Avengers movie... Ironman in just a Hulk buster suit without vibranium knocked out Hulk live on South African tv Killmonger would know this just on basic military intel!
Killmonger also with that MIT type brain be well aware of how the Avengers took on the Chitari as well as Ultron just for Super Bowl game footage study!
Nothing in Killmonger's specs reveal an idiot whatsoever...
His plan is what made him an idiot. If he actually gave a damn about the things he claims he's fighting for, he wouldn't be doing any of this in the first.
He was an amazing person that could have done a lot of good for his people. But he instead wasted his potential with his idiotic scheme that was doomed to fail. That's what makes him the villain. The fact that as smart as he is, he ultimately didn't know what the heck he was doing.

They actually already have officially licensed Kimoyo bracelets out now. Never thought I would see the day there would be comic accurate Black Panther jewelry.

I might buy this for my cousin. :p
Now that I think about it, wasn't Hulk the 4th "core Avenger?"
I mean, usually when you see Avengers promotion or merchandise it's the Avengers Trinity and Hulk together, especially after the first Avengers movie.

He is not an idiot. He was trained by the US military. What is the method that the US uses to fight isolationist countries. Colonialism. He was trained to take down regimes from the inside, by the US giving weapons and propaganda techniques to the rebels, create an uprising from within, destabilize the gov’t, allowing for a militaristic coup to come in take over to implement new gov’ts. He was using the same tactics that the US special forces taught him. Send advanced weaponry to warlords around the world to start an uprising and destabilize the country. Then come in with Wakanda military and take the countries with surprise attacks then implement new gov’ts he would rule over. That doesn’t make him dumb. Ignorant to the fact that just because you have advanced tech doesn't mean this method ever works yes, but not an idiot.
That's why the ending is so powerful. It wasn't that Kilmonger didn't want to go to Prison, it was he would rather die than live to witness Wakanda "this dream that his father painted him as a child as a utopia" continue on its old ways because it's bound to traditionalism, he was so consumed with anger that it blinded him to the possibility that T'Challa was willing to change it's old ways.

From what Aaron said Hulk was on the table, but he thought She-Hulk would be a more interesting choice since she doesn't have her own series and therefore he can have her undergo actual personal developments.

Which is exactly what people were wanting when they complained about with the upcoming roster having a lot of stars with solo titles, so it was probably a smart move on Aaron's part.

Well stated. This was what i was eluding to. Don't get me wrong T'challa will always be my boy but Killmonger wasn't as far out as he might seem.
Well, I can tell you that one way they're dropping the ball. I promised a certain 3 year I would find her a Shuri doll and so far I've been made a liar. I'm not talking about no Legends figure marketed to grown men neither. The closest thing I found was the Toys R' Us exclusive two pack with the Klaw figure. For 40 bucks I think I could do better for something that's sure to end up in a toy box in 2 weeks. I understand toy marketing for boys will always be the thermometer but with this film having the strongest female cast in a superhero movie EVER... there needs to be a couple more gotdamned dolls for my girls!
I've got the 10" Titan figure of both T'Chall and Erik, something like that is what I'm looking for. I also found at the same Toys R' Us these Marvel 'Inspired' Dolls. They had one with a Cap, Iron Man and also a Panther flavor. But these things was like 80 bucks and looked like some Gone With the Wind ****. They just, wasn't, ready.
Yea, that is unacceptable. Shuri is a Disney Princess and these toy manufacturers need to get their **** together!

This is what makes T'Challa one of the best heroes in the MCU. He learns and implements what he learns from not only his experience as King but the villain himself by the end of it. You could see the clear difference, his father would make everyone bow for him, but T'Challa's facial expressions shows he hates it, he was willing to listen to concerns from his fellow people, but his father would hear none of it from his own brother, Kilmonger was pretty much his father but from the opposite end of the spectrum. The villain isn't just an obstacle the hero has to overcome, because T'Challa is shown throughout the movie that he cares what others have to say, he actually learns a lesson from the villain I don't recall another movie that did that hence why to me Kilmonger is one of the best villains in movies in general.
Throughout the movie you can feel the burden and weight in T'Challa's shoulders and him struggling to handle himself as a king. His inner struggle with wanting to please his father and keep the old ways but struggling to want to please his people as well.
It was subtle throughout the movie, but T'Challa to me out acted everybody, it's just because everyone else steals your attention, when T'Challa is on screen no one actually pays attention to Chadwick hence people say someone else stole the scene.
