I would not be surprised if the BP we see on screen will be similar to the one shown in the Avengers EMH animated series.
That version of BP is simple, streamlined, very cost effective, and simply works!
I have said it and I will keep saying it...
EMH black panther was just about perfect and if that is what they are going to use for a template in the MCU, I won't complain one bit and would be giddy as hell.
Yeah all they've announced so far to my knowledge are All-New, All-Different Avengers, Fantastic Four, and some sort of new X-book. They haven't unveiled very many new titles yet.
That was Uncanny Inhumans, not F4

They said there will be a new Fantastic Four book at ECCC yesterday. I'd forgotten about Inhumans though.

You and me both. I want that version in the comics as well.

That's good news.

Ah Wakanda could have used some work + plus man ape but outside of that yeah it was great.
I don't see why we should wait for a solo (provided it is handled properly with a writer who cares and who views the character as a reward, not just a proving ground).
You make an excellent point......however......creative teams behind BP have not consistently viewed BP as a reward, but as a stepping stone to more ambitious endeavors.

Plus, that version of BP had more than a few funny moments, as well. His chemistry with Hawkeye & Wasp were hilarious. Even the Hulk minded how he acted around BP.
It would be funny watching Banner on film trying to learn Wakandan meditative techniques to control his inner monster.

He was great on that show man. I even had some casual at chiro school who I got hooked on t'challa because of that show.
His introduction to the full team was perfect. PERFECT.
I still believe they should wait until after BP's cinematic debut.....see the spin used on the character......and gauge the audience's response (which I believe will be positive)......before launching a solo.

Hickman totally failed in clearly defining BP's abilities in a definitive manner during this saga.
The distinctive differences of opinion in this thread is proof of that.
I would not be surprised if the KOD thing gets erased post Secret Wars.

Post Doomwar, Hickman's KOD non-starter, has probably been just about the worst "development" to have bedevilled T'Challa, his supporting cast and Wakanda as a whole.

The creative team behind the show made BP's characterizations & moments look so bloody easy. Nothing about BP looked over the top, and he never lost an ounce of dignity on the show.
Now....why it is so blasted difficult to consistently do that in the books.......[Kanye shrugs]

Yeah.....like......was the attacks/weapons he used on Namor (after Daddy made him cry) utilized previously to defeat Black Dwarf?
Hickman put more thought in clearly defining Panther fail & deconstruction porn than anything else.
Houseroy would be pleased with Doomwar & KOD.

Yeah the King of the Dead thing did not go how I was expecting at all. I mean at first I had a lot of questions like "why is she doing this now?" From a meta-fictional standpoint the story hasn't been written yet but there doesn't seem to be any reason in-universe why you wouldn't give that power to T'challa the moment he becomes black panther, or Bashenga himself for that matter. I also never got why he was bonded with Reed as opposed to Shuri or any Wakandan since that at least promises some guarantee that they'll hold the safety of Wakanda in top priority (besides the fact that this occurred in an issue of FF). But now I want to know if this was Bast's endgame. Or if that giant humanoid cat lady was real and not some magical projection or something which would mean Bast choice not to manifest while the cabal was running buck wild

I agree completely, his supporting cast was lacking as well ( only 2 un named Dm & N'Gassi)..

On a more positive note the heart of Amun-Ra remains unaccounted for. So calling it now, Bast will give T'challa the heart and he'll eat it or something.
