I'm pretty sure if they are introducing Tchalla they are going to show what he can do. It's not like he's the main villain or anything. Its about showing his abilities and feats.

Set pictures of Evans and Mackie in costume have popped up. I guess we should expect Boseman soon. Hopefully, the costume looks just as good in reality as it did in the concept art.
I hope the costume isn't a costume at all. I want them to use CGI .

Ehhh nah I don't want to risk it ending up looking as terrible as the cgi green lantern movie costume.

That is a horrid idea.
Lol He should be able to Fight Cap and Iron Man to a draw. And trash basically everyone else on Caps New Avengers Team. Vision Might be hard but since he is got Vibranium in him but T'CHalla should prep a counter for that. Most of the team though is much worse combatants or under trained. Hawkeye is basically a Sniper.....they are not known for amazing H2H Skills. Anything less then a stomping unless Panther is trying to take him down injury free should be a stomp. If he cant take Widow while Bloodlusted then he is far below T"Challa
Captain America should be a draw. Iron Man IMO should frankly have the upper hand. Which is not to say that T'Challa can't beat him... but I wouldn't say on paper he's the favorite.
But really anyone can beat anyone else in a fight. And I apply that equally to both Clint fighting T'Challa and T'Challa fighting Iron Man. It's simply a matter of how it's written.
Even in the movie-verse. The idea of Hawkeye....or Widow...or even Iron Man. Being able to defeat the king of the most advanced nation on earth means that that nation is a joke or means that Hawkeye should be their new king. You do see the issue with that right?
Plenty of people can probably beat up President Obama, but that doesn't mean they should necessarily be the leader of the most powerful nation on earth.
T'Challa is powerful... but not unbeatable. The fact that he can be beaten really isn't relavent to whether or not they should be king.
That's probably not gonna happen in a Captain America movie and you know it. Come on now, people.
They just had a movie where two of the main characters got powers from a magic space rock, I see no reason as to why they can't have the Heart Shaped Herb.
I will accept nothing less than pwning. And I want cool weapons! A Panther-logo shield. Some double-edged short swords. The claws. A collapsible bo staff that can produce a spear-tip if needed. Energy daggers. And a cape that can be weaponized.

He gonna come straight out the gate and pull all of their cards bro!! I'm telling u bro!!

Then you're gonna walk away disappointed. They had Black Widow show up in Iron Man 2 but didn't magically have her beat up the entire cast and then defeat Whiplash herself.
That is a horrid idea.
It'd be pointlessly expensive. There's nothing about his costume that can't be done with practical effects.
I don't know why it has to be difficult
The Kings/Black Panthers of Wakanda go through some ceremony (either HSH, blessing by Bast, who cares) that grants them peak human/super human abilities + increased senses
only the royal blood line are worthy and can survive the ceremony.
the royal blood line is also trained from birth in combat, war, AND academically. Similar to say... Sparta/300 + academics thrown in.
Not that. I am referring to any form of government involvement in his enhancing.
The Panther Clan idea is much better, but I question if people will see it as a placebo-effect.
I'm a worry-wart

I'd like to see it adapted to the comic.; I like the pattern on the suit.

I'd like to see it adapted as well.
I'm still in love with the suit from Liss's run -- It seemed so practical.
I wonder how/if they'll do the Energy Daggers though.
There is still many theories claiming that the African Village in Civil War is Wakanda. Ignorance at it's highest peak
If it actually turns out to be Wakanda, then I ain't paying shit to see Civil War

Typical comic book idiots. Try to connect every scene to something or someone in the comics. Plus, putting Wakanda in the article could potentially generate more hits.
I really doubt Wakanda shows up in CW. Waste of a budget.
