So with this Disney/Fox thing looming, what are the possibilities you see in regards to the BP film potential sequels?
Storm/BP deal? Gentle? Wakanda having their own mutant force? A war with Doctor Doom? BP/FF teamup? Etc.
T'Challa has strong ties to the X-men via Storm and the FF, so potentially he could be one of the more useful characters in bridging the Fox stuff with the MCU.
Same. I'm really looking forward to it
Why does this thread keep going back to this Storm **** lol?
We got way more interesting things around BP right now
Because some odd idea that his success is due to HER. She is so successful that her own office can't find anything for her to do.

all of these things seem probable especially the ff teamup. if not mistaken didn't he make his first appearance in FF?

agreed.
Nice!
Marvel.com did an interview with Priest, Mcgregor and Hudlin on the BP Annual

Dude it's crazy, I remember a few months ago some of us fans were talking with Hudlin about it and he mentioned it in the interview, World War Wakanda. Doom war would of ended with Doom getting one of the worst beatings of his life. To the point that other heroes would of been scared of Tchalla and that would of led into this event... I truly hope one day Hudlin can make it happen in some form outside the annual

Others stay speculating while we actually get facts direct from source.

Reading what McGregor, Priest and Hudlin had to say about T'Challa made it all the more obvious how unimaginative Coates actually is.
I can't wait to read the 2018 BP Annual. :)

I actually have no issues with BP and Storm being together. Storm under the right pen can be a beast for T'Challa and the perfect duo. The thing is writers make the coupling a match made in hell with radical fans making it worse when this couple should be PERFECT on paper.
Luke Cage is married and has a kid. T'Challa is divorced and childless. That's ridiculous.
It's not a competition.
That being said, ever since Panther's Prey teased this very issue and ended with the possibility of T'Challa getting married, this has certainly come up. I do think, if he marries and gets an heir, it works best with a character solely tied to the Black Panther and not other Marvel properties who complicate things.
Luke only has a kid because Bendis was literally the biggest gun at Marvel and pushed for the entire Luke Cage, Family Man arc.
The Fantastic Four were the only other exception for what that is worth.
Marvel likes its kids grown and from an alternate future like Rachel or Cable or Trunks.

Ahura and Luna beg to differ.

I think Coates is doing a great job with him. I loved their interaction in issue 17 where he encouraged her to embrace being a goddess even when she was reluctant to. I loved he Coates shows them having each other's bsck. that is nice.

Those interviews tell alot. All of them have knee thing in common that Coates fails to have. They all want the best for Tchalla and BP from sheer excitement (McGregor) to respect (Priest) to wanting to make sure that BP and Black's are shown with their best foot forward (Hudlin) are all thing's Coates lacks

But according to some, Coates is doing a "stellar" job.

You can disagree all you want, but I saw a ton of excitement from Coates in the build up - particularly during the map making stuff.

Dope interview with more art. I'm really hyped for this

I like that they made N'Yami a scientist
Thanks for this, The art just grabs you immediately (Paul Renaud). Very excited for this, full issues of these great visuals. We also get a Daniel Acuna illustrating a BP this Feb, can't wait to see his version, big fan of his.
Love the timing of these, with the movie coming out. Can't believe it's only 2 months away, seems surreal.

You can disagree all you want but nothing you've stated here changes the fact that the attitudes expressed by messes McGregor, Priest and Hudlin as regards their respective treatments of T'Challa in particular and the BP mythos in general are light years ahead Coates in every single way imaginable.
It's not even debatable at this juncture.

FF yes but he has zero ties to the X-Men even after funding them the X-Writers couldn’t even make him a honorary one over crapping on him. Next you’ll say Sleepwalker has strong ties to the X-Men
