Course, the way T'Chaka is written he'd probably just send his secret police to murder the guy in his sleep, assuming he gives a damn.
...at which point T'Chaka's secret police would misinterpret instructions and we'd find out that they actually helped murder Iron Fist's folks.
No back talk or cutting comments. Refer to him as "my king" after all the no one man stuff. lol. Honestly, it was like the first arc never happened. lol

They actually had a conversation with T'Challa without giving him any attitude for once and even refer to him as "my king". The whole "beloved" thing is still cringey but at least they didn't act like brats this time around.

No stupid comments like, "we aren't ready to take orders from you" or being petty. It was either "Yes Damisa-Sarki" or "Yes my King" no back talk, no Tchalla folding to anything or babying them. Just Tchalla giving them orders and them following them like Dora's did in Priest's or Hudlin's run

Whoa...
Editorial told him to cut that season 1 shit out and make BP like the movies lol.
The first arc never happened.
Shame we wasted a full year and most of Stelfreeze's art on it.
Oh hey, you can talk. I'm glad you found that tongue that seems to go missing every time a BP bashing session starts.
Hahahahahhaha.
Good 'ol Storm kid
I'm strictly talking about the fight, not the break up in general. I'm saying that despite Aaron's talent and BP writing history, a lot of us wouldn't have expected him to write the breakup the way it went down.
Even if one wants to argue that Aaron wrote that (the fight) because it was an event book and thus there was editorial interference, Coates is not writing an event book. He's writing a book that editorial has given him a lot of leeway and said book is still selling overall.
Hence why I asked why would editorial suddenly interfere now. Would've been one thing if the book was failing financially but it isn't.
I believe that Coates has always known what his destination was going to be. The ride get bumpy getting there but I truly think that 0editorial has little to do with any perceived change in direction. Coates has shown that he likes to take the scenic route.
Do you have proof of that? Because really Priest did credit Wakanda being jumped to the 21st Century to T'Challa, Specifically it doing so after T'Chaka was murder by Klaw. I dont remember seeing anything that stated Wakanda was already advanced before T'Challa became king
I think at best T'Chaka was supposed to get credit for seeing the coming storm of mutants and super soldiers and started sending Wakandans to get educations across the world to prepare for it. In the old continuity.

Clark Griswald took the scenic route and found Wally World closed. lol

I don't have scans (I will never scan anything ever...haven't used my scanner in years), it's just something I remembered from the first Priest Arc.
It was a flashback to T'Challa's college days something Zuri said to T'Challa.

Yeah, I still stink Stelfreeze would of paired nicely with someone Else, Like Redjack for instance.
If BP ever gets a game I hope it's either done like Assassins Creed/Mordor Series or Ninja Gaiden (Team Ninja version).
Have you played Horizon Zero Dawn? That's another game design that would be cool to use. They could even use Kimoyo card for the hacking concepts.
He'll I'd be down with just a Tell Tales game to start off, like the Walking Dead s1 with Lee the Gawd and Clementine the primcess
I'm curious how many people have read the issue this week?
i did. it read really fast but good issue
10/10 for No Storm. 6/10 for story content.
I am glad to see a classic BP villain appearing.
y'all really need to get over storm and ur hate for her. tchalla and Ororo are forever tethered together.
No Storm!? After her goddess showing that has had the Storm thread clamouring for more.
oh yes boo we want more and will get more. no one expected her to be in each and every issue. besides the portal in this particular issue wasn't even real so there was need for the Hadari Yao to make an appearance.
Poked my head in the Storm thread and now that Wolverine is back the claws are coming out.
The pro BP and Storm fan are going to be guarding the gates. lol
Don't like ur head in, bring some constructive conversation and discussion. And yes anytime someone comes in there trying to ship for her and the flea bag, it will get checked.

That's funny. Chevy Chase might have been a choice for Ross back in the day.

Not sure I would bring anything to the table. Never read X comics. My interaction with the Xmen are exclusive to cartoons and video games.
My favorite growing up was Nightcrawler. Then as I got older Logan and Sabertooth became my new favorites.
As far as I knew Storm just controlled the weather. lol
