Could those people have just been Storm fans and not BP fans tho....
No their used to a lot more BP fans posting on cbr and their were quite a few female hardcore fans , a lot ppl left (both female & male) due to rampat unchecked racism aim at the Black writers, black characters, BP myths (during the marriage), Some when RH stop writing (unexpectedly, when he had spoken of of a 2 year or so plan he had for BP in a few interviews, No serious details were stated , but I get the idea), Others around/after Doomwar & Stand in DD nonsense storyline, some after his last solo was cancelled unexpectedly as it finally gotten good ( we now no why A vs X nonsense, A lot of ppl left cbr over yrs due to cbr wrongly locking BP thread a FEW The years, some ppl left due personal reasons (life, work, lost interest & etc). An lastly ppl left and didn't come back due reboot
Well, as someone who greatly dislikes Storm, I'm glad the marriage is over. No X-Men drama and all that ****. Don't get me wrong, I love the X-Men, but when they get involved in other corners of the MU, things don't turn out great. I'm glad T'Challa can stand on his own (mythos) and not be accused of using the X-Men name as a "crutch".
That idea pretty much got torpedoed when Storm's solo series flopped. Even when the marriage was still intact you rarely saw Hudlin meddle in the X-men's corner of the universe.
I enjoyed Storm's series for what it was but a lot of us predicted before it even launched that X-Men fans (that supposedly wanted it) wouldn't support it.
T'Challa has proven he can hold a series on his own.

Eh, the internet is a weird place. I mean, there are people out there who are convinced that Marvel coppied BvS by announcing Civil War. Because the folks that plan years ahead, decided to change to just copy DC. Never mind that there were seeds in AoU. Still, people like that exist, and I guarantee you some would say "eh, the Panther's only getting sales because of the X-Men".
As for Storm, I'm sad her solo ended because folks were enjoying it, but I can't stand her. So, I'm rather happy she's not involved in the BP mythos.
do you actually believe what you type or do you just post the most negative thing possible about every scenario?
I'm speaking for myself on that Wolverine story but I agree with Maj on that was a bad story and look for T'Challa. There was nothing about that story that needed Logan and Storm to come to Wakanda and a simple quick wiki search negates the unresearched ending as T'Challa had zero authority to let them hang around and leave without a scratch, the person who could do all of that wasn't even there.
That story was like a crappy ass 90's R&B song
That would be one way to twist the knife...
And genius... unite Inhumans and Wakanda....... I think the world would get more nervous than Storm + Panther.
Does Medusa have anymore sisters lol?
You know what......yeah I could get with that

wow! BP Fans will be spending a lot of money for all the BP stuff: http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/marvel-announces-expansive-black-panther-merchandising-program :)

The fact that T'Challa and Wakanda didn't need Storm and Wolverine is,exactly why I felt it was a very good BP story. BP had the problem worked. That's exactly the type of story we need more of. And to Cornell ' s credit he sent that message at the expense of Logan, the books little character.
Also I think it was pretty clear T'Challa had a lot of authority even when Shuri wasn't around. We saw how much the Doras dud behind Shuri's back at the start of Hickman's run. They turned on T'Challa after infinity, but the point being he was followed despite not being the official BP.

I'm gonna feel some type of way if that Panther jet isn't in Civil War.
There was some report last year from someone working on the film that first mentioned it. Then that lego playset popped up. The same person that mentioned it also talked about the Panther needing CGI and the fight with Cap before any of that stuff was confirmed.
So yeah, I want my damn Panther Jet.....If not that then just introduce the Sky-Bike from Hudlin's run.

I'd like a less obvious name for the Panther Jet (it's a bit too Batman - ish for my tastes) but I love the idea in principal.

I don't think that was the actual name of it, it was just what the guys at JoBlo (where the report originated) called it.

If not for the fact that they're always in space The Ultimates would be a good place to re-introduce it.

Yeah, looking back on it, that report from Joblo has been pretty spot on. The report came out in June of last year and at the time the only info we had regarding Panther was the concept art and a couple things Kevin Feige said.
So far the only thing in the report that we haven't seen confirmed (or hinted at) is the Jet:
As we previously reported, Black Panther will be on a mission of his own that has nothing to do with the Rogers/Stark squabble (with speculation that he could be hunting The Winter Soldier on his own for any number of reasons). However, it appears that Black Panther will stand more on the side of Stark than Rogers (at least in the beginning), which will feature a showdown between both characters. Panther's costume will be shrouded in Vibranium (the same material that Cap's shield is made from), which is also the key resource in his homeland of Wakanda (as it is in the comics and most recently noted in AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON). In the showdown between Cap and Panther we'll see him scratching Cap's shield easily and his prowess will prove to be a viable threat to Rogers. It is speculated that Stark needs Black Panther to help take Cap down. In addition to Black Panther's sleek costume, we'll also see a sleek Panther jet of some type, which we're told looks very "Stark-like" in its technical buildout.
Everything from that report has proven true, with the exception of Cap having chainmail armor and the Panther jet, which still have room to be true as well.
