Speaking of that actually does t'challa have any real friends in the avengers? He seems to get along well with Steve but I see that as more of a professional relationship that probably wouldn't transfer outside the workplace. He and tony are dreadful, they are always competing with each other. He seems to have a personality that rubs people up the wrong way.
It would be interesting if he and Luke cage sort of buddied up a bit. They strike me as two people who would get along really well
Sam Wilson and Ben Grimm are legit friends with T'Challa.
As others have already said Luke and T'Challa have a friendship.
Steve and T'Challa see each others are brothers even if they don't hang out on a regular basis.
Bill Foster and T'Challa were friends.
Apparently Moon Knight once traveled to the realm of the Dead to retrieve T'Challa's soul after Killmonger killed him, thus restoring him to life. I guess they can be called friends. I'd have to read the comic myself tho.
I guess that's been much of the problem. T'Challa rarely if ever interacts with characters in other titles outside of FF or Captain America. We don't get a chance to see tese interactions often and that sort of portrays T'Challa as a loner which he really isn't.

I wouldn't count Moon Knight as one of T'Challa's friends. They just worked together once or twice.
It's been hinted at and danced around that T'Challa and Clint are close but it's never been explored too heavily.
Jericho Drumm has stayed in Wakanda on a few occasions but I think that was mostly to learn some tricks from Wakandan mystics.

T'Challa is kept in his own book the vast majority of the time.
He along with Blackbolt are the only members of the illuminati that never appear regularly in other books.
All the stuff that people swore up and down was preventing him from appearing in other books is gone yet he's still not being used by other writers.

Which is why I'm so glad Hickman's usage of T'Challa, Shuri and Wakanda in New Avengers has gone a long way to expose the sheer hypocrisy that has always played a part in the way in which the Black Panther mythos have been continuosly mischaracterized, disrepected, disregarded and maligned by some readers and so-called creators over the years.
There was never anything wrong with any of the characters involved other than the disproportionate hate and pushback they faced over the years.
Nothing's changed as far as the anti BP misinformation is concerned but the struggle continues despite the turn of the wheel.
IIRC, it was mentioned during Priest's run, T'Challa was lonely. It was implied (by Killmonger?) that was why Ross was around for as long as he was. T'Challa considered Ross his friend.
I always felt that T'Challa should have memorial interactions with Thor & Hercules. I would imagine they would have something to say about Bast.
I've always enjoyed T'Challa's and Tony's interactions. They play off each other so well.

Yes, Tony can't talk over T'Challa with techno babble. Tony talks too much while BP will get right down to the bottom line.
I think their interactions would be very entertaining on film.
he then goes back to Storm..after a night of love making he plants seeds of reconciliation ( Literal seeds--wink wink wink)
I don't mind that he smashed.....in spite of her terrible hair style.
I am hoping that a thrice-blessed rain coat was utilized when he spent the night weathering the storm.
I think Sofija and T'Challa could really connect with each other after what has gone down in NA. Not romantically , but I don't think she would judge him like others would.

I don't think she would either.
