Honestly it doesn't even just have to be another Black female. I would like to see Tchalla putting game on. Shang Chi's sister white fox, night shade, or really any woman of color or race throw some game at Silk, we saw how she went straight fan girl on him. He could even throw some game at Carol too.
He doesn't have to Hook up with all of them but show him like how Priest and Hudlin portrayed him and how Pak Showed him. Confident with swagger and wanted by the opposite sex.
I mean, Pak writes a better Black Panther and a better black male than Coates, so you're right that race isn't an end all be all.
With Nakia about to become a memorable love interest, that will quiet all the dumbasses who troll that BP only romances foreign women (all 2 of them in 50 years), at which point, i'd be all for comic BP getting his Sam Wilson on with the greater MU.
Do you think T'Challa would get the same leeway and excuses Sam Wilson gets for being a thot though? Those unfans were offly quiet when Pak praised BP as 6 time Sexiest Man in the world. They don't like 007 T'Chadwick either.
I hope T'Challa and Storm's relationship will be carried over to her solo. He's definitely earned a right as part of her supporting cast. And before anyone takes my words out of context, he's as much tied to her mythos as she is to his. I hope the five the writing duties to Coates or Harvey.
Yeah, it would be cool if T'Challa at least occasionally showed up in her book. The more books he's used in, the better.

Ikr. He could even come in and save the day a few times. I'd love to see Storm put a few of his disrespectful DM in the dirt. Lmao
I wouldn't say it's the same as Carol and Rhodey, seeing as there was no controversy over that couple. Although, you didn't get to see much of them dating when he was alive either. I think with War Machine it was just a we-need-a cheap-shock-death-for-our-ill-thought-out-event.
As far major DC Comics BM/WF couples we did have Power Girl with Mr Terrific ( then she moved on to Val-Zod). There was Jon Stewart and Hawkgirl on the JL cartoon show ( I don't think the other alien women he's dated in the comics count). There's got to be somebody else, but that's all I can think of now off the top of my head...
Johns has actually created a number of minority characters, but he's mostly going to push his creations or the established pet characters. He's not going to get paid if Jon Stewart makes into the next GL movie, but if Simon Baz does...cha-ching.
I've been in atleast 3 locked threads on Reddit that involve Carol. The usual complaints for Carol stem from the fact that man children are angry because she has a costume that doesn't allow you to see her butt cheeks anymore, her hair and the fact that she isn't in a relationship with a white guy(Spider-Man and Iron Man are the two most brought up because she went on dates with them or something??). Some of the complaints are warrented, like the fact that their relationship was never actually developed but that never seem to come up for some reason.
Find me a thread on any website with atleast 10 comments on people talking about Power Girls love life with black men without any bile and I'll send you £5.
I'll admit I dropped the Cyborg solo and haven't followed JL in a while, but if I were writing it there's no way i wouldn't show or at least heavily imply that Vic can have sex with normal humans.
Variant has been Woman in the fridge in that book. Gail Simone & the MarySue website would be offended, if they cared.
She has spent most of that book as the damsel in distress, captured or deactivated. The fake Static-who we can't tell if he's a kid or young adult does more than her.
Oh and lets not forget Static-his wife in the old Milestone was a white Jewish girl and since Amber has a role in his book-it looks like he'll get deflowered by a white girl. Even Madison from the Henderson Titans run wasn't black.
he's as much tied to her mythos as she is to his.
As long as Fox has her movie rights-she is not linked to anything except Logan's bed.
That book wouldn't last 6 issues because no one wants to see a black panther bashing book starring Storm. Especially after the movie lays the smack down.
Miles is only kissing white girls, or every girl, because Bendis is in charge of him.
Idris and Theron is a laughable example of sci-fi "action"
Bendis turned Luke Cage into an emasculated sitcom husband after pairing him with Jessica Jones.
Sam Wilson is the only curious case. He's been cheating on Misty Knight with Jane Foster for over a year now. Or maybe he's in an open relationship and neither girl is bothered. I hope Sam doesn't get punished for his sins.
Idris did nothing the entire movie but wait in the ship and then when the time came, he joined his boys Trevor Barnes and Rhodey in the city of the dead. That scene where they flirt was done in the reshoots because Ridley Scott realised that she had pulled off some superhuman feats in the movie and they wanted to keep the mystery of her being an android. Speaking of Charlize and black love interests, they cut the kiss with her and Will Smith from the theatrical release from Hancock because a fully white test audience said they didn't like it.
Don't even get me started on any Luke Cage controversy. That sex scene between him and Jessica has enough negative implications behind it, Bendis said that he struggled to get that approved by editorial and a lot of places wouldn't sell it or even print it. When it came out a lot of the racists jumped into their relationship at first stating that it was forced(as usual) and that "Luke stole Jessica from Ant-Man" which also has a lot of negative implications.
The original point was that bigots are always going to be prevalent in the comic book community, I think that the creators at Marvel are doing a superb job at shutting them down. I wish DC would follow their example but whatever. It's just going to keep happening. We just have to roll with the punches.
Anyway, this is a depressing subject so I'm moving on.
