Shutting the hell up Mamadou with a spirit Thundertank would be kinda cool.
Though I'm assuming it's not quite a green lantern ring, where he can whip up anything. Would be interesting to know exactly what he can do though... I wish they brought back those marvel handbooks from the 80's.
yes and agreed lolol. I didnt get to thinking about different forms of assault weapons until your previous post. and I think you are right about it not doing as green lanterns powers. to your last poin I liked the marvel handbooks but they seemed to.be dared as soon as they were available to the public because any given character would have done new things to seemingly invalidate what was contained in the book. like I'm almost certain an updated one for tchalla wouldnt evrn mention his energy spear.

I would say morph it from spear to sword to shield to brass(blue) knuckles. Because he is not a normal magic user he could only use one at a time and it would have a time limit. Leaving him without stamina from overuse.
If he used them on non magical people/creatures/objects nothing would happen.

hmmm I see. I'm with you on everything up until the last part, though I agree how you describe it functioning makes the most sense to me. he has already been shown capable of killing normal people with it.

If we get crazy, we can say it shuts off spiritual energy leaving the body unharmed. It went right through Tetus' chest where his heart would be, but he still living. Lol
Besides that is a terrible action scene. Something like that should be on a splash page.

lolol good point and observation. I didnt notice that.
and the action isnt that bad is it lol

I believe early on Coates admitted he didn't write action well. Stelfreeze and his replacements art style didn't help make up for it.

are you liking the action sequences from this current run better than the previous one?

The only problem with that idea is that that's EXACTLY how Magik's Soulsword is supposed to work (with some odd exceptions). So it's a bit of a ripoff.

It looks good but hard to follow. I seen multiple reviews with people having different interpretations of what's happening. Lol.
I think the best action sequences so far are in "The Crew"

At this point all comics are ripoff of something else. Lol

Now that you mention it, given Coates' fondness for borrowing from the X-Office, that might be EXACTLY what he had in mind.
I henceforth dub it the Soulspear. :D

omg I thought it was just me. like I like acuna art but the action sequences have been extremely hard for me to follow. the crew was cool but the art really bothered me at times. like I dont know what the hell that was going on with Misty's hair lol.

agreed. I cant tell you how many telekinetics/telepaths are running around marvel.

Jackson Guice is obviously a veteran of the comics industry, but I really liked the art in that book. If he drew it in that style, I made the argument that he should replaced Gaydos in a Jessica Jones book.

Actually it's $183,302.
It might be less with this being a so-called 4 day weekend.
