Probably, going to feature him walking up into BP's house asking about how his "girl" is doing.
Hahaha.
Then she come out and leaves with him. They were together before he died right?
Eh. I felt Long live was mediocre at best and the art was not my cup of tea. Rise stomps on Long live but that's just my take on it. Had a few things I rolled my eyes at but I was never bored unlike Long Live which was just a throwaway book in my opinion.
I think both books do an okay job doing different things. One is sort of a history lesson in Wakanda for more die hard BP fans, while the other seems to be a fairly continuity light all ages action story which anyone can jump into. Both are doing 2 different things, and doing them well enough.
And I think that's sort of what you need to do when you're giving a character 3-4 different books at once. There's no point in all 4 of them basically trying to do the same thing for exactly the same target audience. I can't say I'm in love with either book, but they're all doing their own thing well enough IMO.
I felt it was as long and boring as a history channel documentary. lol
Positives though: good cameos, the Bashenga unit was a nice touch, Tchaka riding a motorcycle was cool. I think he did good merging different writer storylines. But the action sequences weren't enough to ignore how it dragged.
I'll probably still get that $11 variant cover. And I'll buy the rest to see where to goes since its a mini anyway.
Overall I put it on the same level as Long Live. I still think Browne has done the best job so far.
[spoil]The son was upset because his father lost the challenge and turned to Hydra? Even though by dialogue his father lost the year before too? Its the same issue I had with Mayberry during Doomwar. Why would native living Wakandans turn to outsiders. And the bigoted ones at that. lol. Killmonger makes since as he was raised in America[/spoil]
I liked the way it merged different writers stories in a way that gives everyone their due. Hudlins Klaw story I think can now effectively be retconned out of continuity, but at the same time clearly a lot of Hudlins Wakandan backstory and themes are still present. His version of Wakanda is essentially intact, even if the specific events in that one specific story he wrote isn't. And I think that's a nice compromise. So even with the minor retcons here, everyones previous influence in the mythos is still there, and that's nice to see.
Oh hell no. Article rolled over Hudlin then backed up to do it again. Problem is the fifth paragraph
Oh lordy lordy lordy.
Wolverine is getting a bunch of post credit scenes across Marvel titles. And he is getting one for BP #170

cool find. I'm interested to see what business he has in wakanda.
Yeah, the fact that Jordon has had a success (not counting Fantastic Four) despite dating non black women should be a pretty good indicator of what sort of impact this boycott will have. Likely no impact at all.
yea the movie will do fine. anyone boycotting over this didn't really want to see it in the first place.
cool find. I'm interested to see what business he has in wakanda.
If he does have any sort of business in Wakanda, that could be an indicator that Black Panther or Wakanda will play a larger role in whatever story is building. I don't think he's just going to role up to Wakanda for the heck of it. So to me that's a good sign.

yea I agree. if he is showing up while possessing one of the infinity stone I'm thinking he is making contact with tchalla because of something bigger being at play. we will see when is that issue out?
Two chapters from the new Young Adults novel. Looks good with nice details. If you have kids might be a good book.

I still don't understand why BP doesn't have an infinity stone. I don't recall it disappearing when he used it.

Alright then. I guess I just misremembered that scene.

His feature in the back of Captain America was basically pointless. So I imagine his BP back will be just as dumb.

My interpretation of it was that everything in Battle World, including T'CHalla and the gems was vanishing as the multiverse was getting rebooted. T'Challa quickly used the gem to make whatever changes he made before it vanished.
I do wonder if the whole galactic empire and Wakanda using rockets before T'Challa was even born was somehow the result of T'CHalla using the stones.

It's similar to a movie credit scene at the end of a marvel movie. It's a teaser for what's to come.
