Yeah. He had Black Bolt blast Namor as Namor was coming back from trapping the Cabal on a doomed planet, then BP blew him up.
What was BP's reason of killing him?
I'm so sorry if I don't know about this.

He was still mad at Namor for AvX.

Namor attacked Wakanda in AvX
Namor sent Thanos forces to Wakanda
Namor regret neither decision and bragged about it
Can't wait to see how its explained how he lived. If he begs Thanos or needs Thanos' help....Avengers #40 will be twice as delicious.
Thanos went into the situation knowing there might be trouble. My guess is that he and Max had a back door on case things went sour.

Then they're writing BP wrong. BP is not that kind of person.

Please explain how killing someone who killed thousands of his people and the same person lead a genocidal maniac and his band of murderers to kill off pretty much the rest of his people.

BP has been pledging to kill Namor since issue 1 (or 2). Wakanda is gone because of Namor's actions. It may not be pretty , but everyone knew this was going to happen (as much as people denied it).

Oh ok! The previous poster only stated Namor attacked Wakanda. I didn't know thousands of his people were killed. Sorry. :(

only about 2,000 Wakandans exist at the moment.

What was the population of Wakanda before it happened?
only about 2,000 Wakandans exist at the moment.
Course that's 2000 more than we would have if the incursion had destroyed the universe. So the glass is at least half full.

A nation of millions. (and now they're held back).
I can see Xpac's point though about it being an assassination. Not that it is the same situation but Salman Rushdie has had a death sentence passed on him for a long time for his writings. Certain parties would be happy to seen just about anyone kill him at anytime. If that were to occur I would call it an assassination even though Rushdie knows it could come at anytime.
I think there is no two ways around the fact that Namor did have an epiphany about the course he had taken. He knew that this was the last act of a free man. We don't don't exactly what Steve had in mind or if they were talking about some kind of MU equivalent of the International Court of Justice. IMO it was a sneaky way for T'Challa to fulfill his vow and sabotage the plan. For me the scene on the platform would have played out better had he challenged Namor to a final fight to settle the score right up front. Maybe you could fault Reed for not telling T'Challa about Namor coming into the fold again but I think he should have given things a chance.
Still wrong choice of words. Executioners would be more appropriate.
The question is, what was behind Namor's sudden change of heart? Was it the Cabal getting out of control? Did the guilt he felt become unbearable? I know he expressed his regrets to Doom about what he and the Cabal had done/are doing but when did he decide to return to the Illuminati? I can honestly say his "apparent death" left me a little saddened. But I'm also glad that T'Challa was able to get some measure of justice for Wakanda.

I think assassination is more appropriate than execution. Execution implies there was some due process involved. Assassination implies it was done secretively, which it was.
