Course, if T'Challa end up working with Namor again he might have to keep that on the down low. I have an easy time imagining that would be a popular decision even in his inner circle.
Working with Doom probably won't win over too many people either.
Hostile nations have worked together in the past, way of the world.
Secret agenda groups in comics are destined to fail because the reveal leads to drama. I'd just as soon not see the same plot with T'Challa

Agreed 100%.
There's absolutely no need to rehash that Illuminati nonsense again.

The Little Engine That Could...
So in addition to not having a Royal Talon Fighter not made of losable Lego parts available a brotha can't even get a Wakanda Design Group magnetic choo choo train to play with!
With Toys R Us going out of business the Disney stores need to step up their game up and get on that train or else...

Fair point. If there's a good enough reason, I'm certain T'Challa would work with Doom and Namor regardless of their history. Unlike in New Avengers T'Challa is ruler now, so he doesn't really need to keep it a secret. He's king, so if anyone has a problem with it, too bad. Namor and DOom likely won't sweat that sort of thing either.

T'Challa's status as ruler (or lack thereof at the time) had ZERO relevance as to the secrecy of the Illuminati.
It's not as if Stark, Richards or Banner were rulers themselves.
Besides, Black Bolt slipped up in allowing Maximus to become privy to Illuminati business which in turn, became one of the contributing factors to the groups implosion.
In fact Maximus induction into the group, made T'Challa's shutting out Shuri all the more stupid as well as traitorious.

No secrecy, just the Monarchs of Marvel reacting to event's in the world and responding in kind (whether with team ups or going rogue) but the reason I said illuminate is because it was an exclusive group. Again think Sturm,
Hudlin's house of M and World tour

this was the only thing I liked about the Illuminati
T'chadwick and lupita already answered that storm bit in an interview. Mcu Storm ain't going to be riding any coat tails from BP. And that's a GOOD thing. The comics need to move on too. Tchalla being hung up on storm is getting old
what makes you think either one of those two people would know what a sequel would Intel so soon being only actors and even if they did that they would spoil the future of it. They gave a playful answer that was really a non-answer

Storm ain't in the picture makes utterly no sense now to do that even if Marvel could which they can't because they don't have the rights. The Disney acquisition hasn't gone through they've still got to deal with Comcast, the FCC and possible petty Trump interference. Could take months to a year or more for that to finalize if it ultimately goes through.

Amen, Marvel needs to focus on getting Storm right in her own damn franchise. Besides, It's all about Queen Nakia baby!

I don't see it happening either. Too many bridges to cross.
But if they did, they'd sure handle it better than what the MU did to it after Hudlin left.

totally agree.
What Marvel did to that relationship broke my heart. Some of you may remember I was working on a Black Panther and Storm tribute video at the time. I was probably like 65% done...than AvX dropped and I stopped reading Marvel for a while.
Feige and company just seem to have a really good idea for their audience and the characters. They take movie industry risks in a traditional sense, but from a common sense perspective they play it relatively safe and are able to cater to mostly everyone. I just have to tip my hat.
I would like Marvel to get the Fantastic Four stuff, I'm curious how they will handle Reed Richards genius now that they've already established Tony Stark, Hank Pym and Shuri. I don't think the current MCU needs the X-men. Mutants should be such an important topic it would overshadow other issues and possibly blur the lines with heroes like Spider-Man etc.

I'm sure they would. I'm not sure even Shuri would,be thrilled about working with Namor and Doom. But that doesn't mean they can do anything about it.
It potentially creates drama, which is good ... it's still doable.

Like I said, I don't see how the mutant dynamic will fit into the MCU and frankly I don't want it too. Let them have their own cohesive universe. If they want to bring a few mutants over, then fine but I don't want to see the angst ridden, not-so-diverse, mutant-hating phobia of the X-Men ruin what the MCU has going.
