Yeah, but the movie spent a fair chunk of time instructing the audience about how T'challa's uniform absorbs and redirects kinetic energy. Anyone who uses a ranged weapon against him like guns, arrows, force blasts, shields, etc, are just making him stronger and faster. Hell, by not having a ranged weapon, he's actively encouraging enemies to take shots at him and empower his attacks. It's the Sebastian Shaw school of owning fools. MCU Panther is really good at it.
It's a brilliant psychological tactic, but depending on the limits of his uniform there's also an inherent risk to it. I certainly wouldn't want to encourage Thanos for example to take a shot at him. I'd literally rather keep my distance. He has yet to face an opponent where that's really been an issue though ... it'll be interesting to see if that changes in Infinity War.
That didn't worked out so well for him with the grenade launcher. Energy daggers are long range and close quarters combat weapons. Their versatility speaks for themselves. There's no reason not to have them. Give the man his energy daggers.
They'll probably add that on later like they're adding the spider senses onto Spider-Man. You don't wanna give people too much to work with at once and there's the remaining issue of wanting to leave area for growth. Maybe the instances where T'Challa suffers where it would've been nice to have the daggers causes him (or Shuri) to develop them.

Giving them to Shuri is a thought. She doesn't necessaril have great short ranged options. Though I'm not sure Shuri is even meant to be a character who necessarily is supposed to be fighting on the front lines so maybe she doesn't need short ranged options.
They don't really need to trade off, because they're in different mediums at the moment.
Movie Nakia is movie Nakia and comic Nakia is comic Nakia.
except it Looks like movie Okoye is going to cone to the comics so Again. I'll trade then all day everyday

That's an easier trade off. Movie Okoye and comic Okoye are fairly interchangeable.

Woah there bruh I think he just meant she builds them for T'Challa. Hasn't the man lost enough? Not the daggers
The techno jungle is one of T'Challa's most impressive feats so I don't see how it could be considered pointless. In fact, I can see it becoming very relevant during Infinity War, unleashing Wakanda's full tech might.
I find it ironic that one of T'Challa's original signature feats dating back many decades, should be relegated to the proverbial back of the bus behind the Necropolis by some just because it "hasn't been used in awhile."
I hope that all of T'Challa's signature acumen, intelligence and established feats that have been absent from Coates entire BP run thus far, are brought back alongside the Techno Jungle in whayever BP run comes after Coates departs.

Okay Firstly, You have to understand that the techno jungle in the MCU wouldn't even be T'Challa's feat if it was introduced. This is the guy who had to be told "just because something works, doesn't mean it cannot be improved".
Second, when was the last time it was seen or used in the comics? Unfortunately its a remnant.

I'm not 100% on this, but I thought it was just shown in Rise 2 or 3.

movie Nakia is just as easy to switch too

It did get one panel in Rise 2. That's something I guess.

If it actually happens, I guess we'll see. Right now that's up to Coates.
I'll admit I'm not a huge fan of comics copying the movies as I'm fine with both doing their own thing, but if Coates decides to transform the comic version into the movie version I'll give it a shot at least. We'll see.
And MCU Nakia is cooler then comics Nakia. I'll talk that trade off all day everyday
But why not make an equally cool character not called Nakia for the comics?
Or, to tackle this from a different angle, do you think merely calling her the same name as the character in the movie will make her as cool as the movie version?

Because comic Nakia oabt cutting it and movie Nakia is the one that needs to make it to the comics straight up. It's just like when the movie drops people see Black panther in all its greatness, go to the comics and see... None of that. Black Panther is one of the few movie franchises that would benefit greatly from adopting it's MCU versions. And no, a character isn't Cool simply for having the same Name, but having the sane motivations and attitude (and not being a teenager who goes love obsessed and crazy stalker killer) would make her cooler
