We know that gods take on different forms for different people. Would be cool to see T'Challa meet another hero connected to Bast who wasn't a Black Panther.
What if they were from different planets? Be like those Power Ranger episodes when all the Red Rangers get together.
If a 2 second throw away line about him making his suit (only to seconds later be dwarfed and belittled by his 16 year old sister) is the only genius we can point to then yea....The Movie didn't showcase his main freaking attribute all that well.
I didnt think genius was he main attribute? He doesn't use it in most stories like Reed or Tony would. I always thought it was something more matter of fact as opposed to what makes his special.
That's the nice thing about T'Challa. With ties to the Avengers, X-Men and FF he can practically tie into any major franchise organically. Daredevil, Champions, whatever ... Stick him anywhere and it works.
There’s also the fact that T’Challa’s established powers/skillset are so versatile and scalable that he believably works in stories ranging from street to cosmic level, and across nearly any genre (espionage,political,supernatural,sci-fi,etc). I can’t think of many other heroes with that much yet untapped potential.

That is absolutely true. He can go from fighting Kingpin to Thanos and everything in between.
A lot of readers may think it's cooler for characters to be more powerful, but I thing range actually serves them better. The ability to scale up or down can literally double a characters usage. Thor only works in so many stories ... that's the downside of being a big gun. But there are very few storied that T'Challa can't work in. And I think that's one of his strengths.
The Avengers' first reaction to him would be interesting too. We know that he has a salty relationship with Tony Stark(my fave) so seeing them together for the first time on a mission and hearing their inner thoughts about each other would be great for me.

Honestly I would love to see a EMH type encounter. Where he tests then like he did the FF before revealing who he is. Also I would like to see him interact with Monarchs more.

That's cool in the sense that T'challa could have so many other contemporaries out there. Then there is the concept of inter-tribal animal totem gods. What if Bast demanded Black Panthers for defeat all other animal totem avatars, or even if Bast had him fight with him in a god war?

I don't see how he was dwarfed or belittled. I also mentioned this before, but Given the scene after he gets back home with Nakia, I wonder of the EMP beads are his design considering the interactions between him and Shuri.
Plus Tchalla showed genius in other ways in the movie. But just like the line in CW that was deleted. Him making his suit definitely puts him above widow and Even strange (not sure how he was out above T'Challa either)

It was always suprising that they never more with the other gods and their avatars. They have M'Baku, but they never showed the ape god. And they showed the lion god a few times, but no avatars. Would would have been a very easy way to flesh out his rogues gallery a bit.
And of course there's Moon Knight, who is a non animal avatar. It would be nice to see them interact more.

The thing is, I don't think don't movie makers or comic book writers do their job for the sake of creating feats to show who is better at what on rumbles boards or polls. They're really just telling a fun story.
They did establish that T'Calla is smart. Whether or not that's enough evidence for anyone to conclude that he's smarter than Pym or Stark or whatever likely isn't the point.
Point being T'Challa is very very smart. That is clear. And I think that's enough. I don't think the actual creator see it as a contest. Or at least they usually don't. In Shuri's case her being the smartest person in the world might actually be her thing.

Didn't realize that Hulkbuster suit was so big. I'don't hate to be the ones running in front of that thing.
