I mean her father was killed. I don't see how she is marginalized in this movie. Emotionally, on that level she would and should have her own agency and urgency. Her brother the crown prince just became King and she just loss her Father. I just don't see how she is left out or minor.
The thing is she won't have JUST lost her father by the time the movie comes out. That'll have happened 2 years agon in a previous movie. Had T'CHaka's death occured DURING the BP movie I would have expected a larger role for his immediate family.
Seems like we're going to debate this movie from start to finish. We went from who should be T'Challa, to who should direct the movie, to who else should be in it, to what it should be about and where it should be. If they are going to build a proper Black Panther franchise, we're going to need every bit of the BP supporting cast and some new blood as well. I doubt they're going to try to cram everything into one movie. But Shuri should be a part of this for sure.
I remember when some cats were even worrying about whether Boseman would be able to bulk up enough before shooting began on CA:CW.
Fussing over the size of Boseman's biceps and alladat.
It was funny to me though. LOL!
Then invite them over to HEF instead and lets get this Wakandan Palace Party rocking like it's 1999. (RIP Prince)
I will. I have not been there in a while. It's funny how a lot of stuff we said is coming true or became true. Lol. I should post my stuff about T'challa not being a regular dude or peak human. Watching CW all I could do is smile hard.

Nah, T chaka death will be felt in the solo. Especially with T'challa trying to fill his shoes.

basically. Already kinda fucking bored with it.
Some are discussing in good faith, others just want to get outraged and ignore everyone lese. Makes for a tiring, circular, never ending discussion.

You know what's funny to me? When some folk were complaining about how some other character(s) were being used to prop BP up. Don't see any of those characters around and BP is doing well in movies and in comics. I'm not a fan of the current arc but having a BP book top sales, him be in a smash hit on the screen and a solo film with some top talent is sweet.
Now we just need some cool merchandise and swag to go along with it.

Funny thing is so far I'm not sure there's a whole lot of reason to be outraged, on the movie side of things at least. It's weird how that works sometimes.

Bro, I post there occasionally but I'd post there a lot more often if more of the faithful returned to get things on and popping again.
Let's make it happen.

Talking about it like it was an NFL combine. Only in this thread haha!

The twists and turns this thread takes most times are just perilous and hilarious in equal measure.

We do that a lot. Everyone just wants what's best for BP and the franchise and we're all vocal about it. It why this thread stays on the front page of the Marvel boards like it's a sticky and we are topping 30,000 posts.
Some people don't like BP because of his fans but it's those same fans that keep driving to make BP a relevant character.

Count me in as a regular again. Between Black Panther and Age of Marvels, I should be around more often.
