It may not take as long as you might think.
They got Spider-Man into the MU pretty quickly. Two years after Amazing Spider-Man 2, we got Spider-Man in Civil War. A little over a year later, Spider-Man got his own MCU movie.
If they can get the legal stuff all worked out, I honestly think we'll see Wolverine on the big screen in 2-3 years. Not necessarily with his own movie, but I think he'll show up somewhere sooner than a decade.
X-MEN should be on screen around 2021/2022 imo. But Storm should get with a cool version of movie Bishop. Make Nakia the queen

Storm with Bishop? I can get behind this.
I mean it means nothing that Coates is writing cap and BP. He won't do a cross over likely at all. He didn't do crossovers with the Ultimates teammates and half of them weren't doing much outside the book
He did have the Crew show up in his book though ... and that's a book he was writing. So I wouldn't be shocked if he didn't have Cap and BP show up in each other's books. They are teammates, plus they have the same writer for their solo book.
But we'll see. If he wants T'Challa and Steve to not interact That's fair too.

I posted this a long time ago and as far as it still stands on the Black Panther/Storm affairs...
We chose T'challa... ;)
It will take ten years or more. The current MCU will be long gone. We might see a Wolverine stand alone before then but I doubt it.
I don't think it will take that long, if it happens, but I do agree with your overall sentiment. The MCU is 10 years old and for a variety of reasons such as age, wages and time commitments, this train is unlikely to keep chugging along without a few big changes here and there.

Marvel also kind of lucked out with the North Korea Sony hack, which put Sony in a real bind for a handful of reasons. Than somehow Kevin Feige was able to convince Sony to partner with Disney and ride the MCU gravy train. Anythings possible I've learned not to underestimate Disney... at least from a corporate standpoint.
I just want to know what Marvel's going to do when actors and actresses retire or get too old. Will they recast, reboot or just have the universe age with them and introduce younger characters/heroes.

Too old to be a super hero...
Yeah, we don't often get to see T'Challa (or heroes in general) unwind and have fun with each other, which is part of the reason Hudlin's run is my favorite, because we got to see a lot of that. For example, T'Challa and Luke Cage's friendship was well done and great to watch.
Not only that, But that was some of the best Characterizations of Cage in a Long time

Aint nothing going on but the rent...
Speaking of a billion dollars at the box office, not only is Black Panther the wealthiest in movie revenue he's also paid in full on panel!

They may or may not reboot, but they definitely will recast. There's no way they won't continue to make movies with those heroes while they're making money.

It almost reminds me a little of the Onslaught event that led to Heroes reborn.
Maybe the 4th Avengers movie will have the core heroes of the MU sacrificing themselves in a way, which they can be reborn sometime down the line. It obviously couldn't be quite like Heroes reborn as that would be pretty cheesy on the big screen, but maybe something similar in principal.

I'd like to see the king of the dead powers better utilized since he doesn't use energy daggers anymore. Right now its always the spear of bashenga. I'm sure the other black panthers had weapons too.

He has never actually used the spear of bashenga it's some random spirit spear. He still uses energy Dagger's though

He's using the spear a lot in this arc because he's fighting magical threats. Magical weapon vs magical threats makes sense. I'll wager we'll be seeing the spear a lot less in the galactic empire arc (unless we're getting space gods or something like that).
I do sort of like him tailoring his gear to the type of threats he's facing.

The only powers T'Challa needs is those coming from the heart shaped herb. They just need to use his daggers more, and stop treating him as a vibranium Iron Man.
