Oh I see. You're a Namor apologist. Don't get revenge on Namor/Doom and the rest who have it coming. Just keep taking it and forgiving them.

If revenge ends up getting your own nation destroyed along with Namur then is revenge really worth it?
Yeah, Namor destroyed Wakanda and Wakanda retaliated against that, and Namor retaliated against Wakanda. When you get to the point where both nations end up destroyed, what's really the upside of revenge?
Eventually they needed to stop. All I'm saying is maybe stopping before both were completely destroyed rather than after might have worked to everyone's advantage in the long run.
Yes.
Because if you dont take that risk everyone will come to test you.

Being tested sounds preferable to being completely destroyed if you ask me. Seriously, after Wakamda was destroyed for like the 3rd or 4th time in a row how much comfort do you think they had in the knowledge that they might not be tested? Probably not much I would imagine.
But they were lucky. T'Challa managed to get them a second chance and Wakanda and Atlantis didn't waste it by continuing a pointless war.

I remember it only being destroyed once. And that was negated. Pointless? The war could have been avoided if a good writer would have had Tchalla kill Namor and use some other character for Illuminati muscle

Yes, thru can continue trying to kill each other but again ... what's the point? They already destroyed each other ... isn't that a food time to stop? By this point they simply weren't doing each other any favors.
They were smart enough to stop the cycle violence. They got a second chance, but more importantly they learned from it.

Not even that. Just when T'Challa exacted his revenge he should of successfully killed Namor. The dynamic was a really good one, but it was Namor's time to die and Hickman dropped the ball. He served no purpose after he survived. Strange could of went to Tchalla and the same end result (Since Doom killed strange and Namor) would of happened

Thought we were talking about the after events of AvX. And whether Shuri should regret doing it.
Which she shouldn't.

Once you started talking about T'Challa killing Namur it became less about Shuri and more about T'Challa.
But going back to Shuri, again her entire kingdom was destroyed in a war she could have chosen to prevent. So I can buy her having some doubts about her decision in hindsight.

Yes a country who has never been conquered or invaded, who was randomly attacked by an foreign force because "they wanted to" Should of turned the other cheek and Shuri should of called for peace... Yea that's not how any advanced country would react to an attack unless they were asking to be invaded by the rest of the world.
It's a BS like e from Coates which does nothing but shade throw on Shuri with his continued use of racial stereotypes band imagery, talking about slavery Again and using images of a black man chained up.. yea he needs to leave BP

I meant kill Namor before Shuri launched the offensive. He had Namor in reach. Blow some of that Azari dust on him, breakout the Ebony Blade and pike his head in the town square. Then sue for peace with Atlantis, but prepare for war.

I agree, a peace treaty is probably not how most countries would have necessarily responded. That's why I said multiple times that given what she knows, Shuri's decision was entirely understandable.
She didn't know that the Incursions were occruing at the time and it was a horrible time to be fighting amongst themselves, because T'Challa kept that from her. And obviously she didn't know the outcome of the war would be Wakanda taking hit after hit after hit until it was almost entirely destroyed. These are things she can only see in hindsight, which again is why I believe she would have some regrets in the decisions she made. I believe that she in hindsight would have prefered a course of action which could have avoided Wakanda being destroyed. But hindsight is always 20/20 and she had no way to know back then how things would turn out.

He could have tried killing Namor certainly. On his own turf, it would have been easy enough to do. T'Chaka questioned why T'Challa didn't kill Namor, and T'Challa's counter arguement was they needed Namor. Given Namor ended up being the only member of the Illuminati capable of detonating a bomb, T'Challa actually ended up being right. Course, T'Challa immediately tried killing Namor after he detonated the bomb but T'Challa was still right.

Strange was about to destroy the planet until they stopped him.
