That could be the case as well. We'll find out soon.
I mean think about, Why would Thanos army sans Thanos attack Wakanda again? For all we know the Black order could of had the same fate as Thanos being put into a abscence of everything zone to rot. Before Shuri died, she named T'Challa king again, so thinking about it now, its not too weird that when he reset the MU (and everyone in Wakanda remembers the incursions) stating himself as king wouldn't be an odd statement. I dont think Shuri is dead, and if she is, which would suck by the way, its not because of Thanos but would have to be another reason.
I think the most recent articles and tweets just have people a little on edge is all.
Though i do want to say that in regards to the Tweets, DM are not that odd because its not like there isn't a Wakanda Military which is Coed and the is the HZ which is an all male secret police. the different military departments aren't that weird at all, when Shuri was Queen, she had both Dora's and Hatute in her entourage so focusing only on the Doras and having an issue (which the main points that weren't that great havent been a thing for 10 years) is odd

Speaking of QDJ, who are some Bp supporting characters in limbo you'd eventually like to see back?

A quick thought on the Dora Milaje...
This tweet from Coates...
Rozay Canseco: Wasn't the concept to keep the peace among all the tribes of Wakanda, the guards are from all different tribes.
Ta-Nehisi Coates: But like what's up with that? Why only girls? why as body-guards? Is this a security issue. Or is it something else.
It is kind of a weird thing when you think about it... it's like, yeah, why only girls?
The Dora Milaje are a cool visual, I guess. But beyond that is it kind of weird.
(I guess they may have been Priest's freaky side coming out or something, I don't know... ;))
Anyway, throwing that in with the main thrust of the arc (Coates': "Wakanda's the most advanced country in the world, with a really educated population. Why would they even accept a monarchy?"), adding in the uprising in Wakanda from The People. And bringing it back around to "But instead of cutting them (the Dora Milaje) out, Mr. Coates positions them as perhaps the embattled Wakanda's last, best hope for salvation."
So we have all this turmoil from The People and everything else, and the Dora Milaje, the one's who get the sideways looks from everyone else in the world, may turn out to be the one's who hold everything together. And then what happens next? Do they want their "freedom" too? Do they want justice?
People keep saying that and I don't see it.
She doesn't have the fun/quirky/likable characteristic that sold female readers on Ms. Marvel, Nu52 Batgirl or Harley Quinn.
Now if Shuri had Queen Divine Justice personality, I could see it.
That's actually one thing I like about Shuri: she doesn't fit the mold of a fun/quirky female character. That she isn't necessarily the most likeable character makes sense to me, as it appears she doesn't seem to care to be liked by those who aren't her family or her people (helps contrast her with T'Challa, who is the more likeable and diplomatic of the two). The reader accepts her for who she is or doesn't. I find that cool.
I liked QDJ much, much faster than I ended up liking Shuri. However, I have much more admiration for Shuri's character, considering what she represents.
In any case, if you don't like her, that's cool. We all have our opinions.

Of those we haven't seen recently:
QDJ
White Wolf
Taku
Achebe
N'Gassi
Malice
Okoye
Kasper Cole
Vibraxas
Sofijia
If Killmonger, Zuri, S'yan, and W'Kabi can come back from the dead, I'm all for it.
I'm 50/50 on Monica Lynne, but if there's a good story that could involve her, I'm all for it as well. Same with Everett Ross.
In short, the more people the better.

Its not that weird, There is the Hatut Zeraze, the Dogs of War, who were all male, secret police in Priest run, When Shuri was Queen they were also part of her guard with the Doras, Its just two different factions that can be used the same way if they choose. Though the Dora's seem more so to protect the royal family and the HZ were more so like a easy to mobilize strike force. The weird part has been taken out and hasnt been an thing for awhile up till now

I want to see TChalla vs Kraven...:)

Counting the royal family, T'Challa has like 50 characters of varying continuity depth he can interact with as supporting cast. Add in villains and possible villains, which at my estimate reaches 6 business, 6 villanous organizations as well as 35 more villains in teams or working solo.
The depth is just fine, folks. He just needs to have it all on page, all at once.

Exactly. The Doras as of late protect the ruler (male or female) and the royal family. They aren't exclusively for protecting males.
As for them being exclusively female, there have been several all-females squadrans in several african kingdoms. Most notably, N'Nonmiton from the Dahomey Kingdom: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dahomey_Amazons
All-female squads are not new in the African continent.

lol, pretty much.
That's the main issue with his supporting cast. Constant reshuffling. One run, they are there. Next run: limbo.

All male, adults, who choose to serve, and who aren't being trained to be the spouses of anyone or wearing fancy, revealing outfits to be commented on sexually by supporting cast. When T'Challa's adopted brother starts rolling with a troop of seventeen year old boys in little shorts or cute necklaces called husbands-in-training and "the beloved," that the supporting cast worry are spending their time in T'Challa's bed, that, too, will be something we can question the authors' motivations for adding.

But as Eyzo has mention, the most troubling elements you mentioned have basically been dropped post-Priest. They haven't been brought up, touch on, or been a factor in over 10 years. Visually, the doras have a different look, have been aged (first time I read the post-Priest stories, I didn't get the impression that they were teenagers. Maybe its just me.), and they have been seen protecting both the King and Queen of Wakanda. They aren't exclusively for the males.
Now, a change of attire? I'm all for it. It appears that has already been done in the Ultimates. If they don't address T'Challa as beloved ever again, that's cool too.

Drop the wives in training aspect, make them volunteers, change their attire and there you go. Simple.
Drop the wives in training aspect, make them volunteers, change their attire and there you go. That's the best thing about fiction.
I think it's better, if you're going to keep them, to deal with it. But, yeah, otherwise, I do agree.
That is, however, a very different thing once you do. It's better, but it's not the same thing that people are finding questionable.
But as Eyzo has mention, the most troubling elements you mentioned have basically been dropped post-Priest.
They weren't, though. They were still there, at least, early in Hudlin. Storm called it out. T'Challa was having weird anxiety dreams about it. At minimum.
(I need to reread late-Priest and Hudlin's whole go again.)
That was, probably, still close to ten years ago, but Priest and Hudlin are two of the most recommended runs and they're the two that dealt largely with them, for that matter.
