If they made her a princess again, she would remain one even when Tchalla has children. I would make her Lord of something. Maybe the lands the Mound sit in or something.
agreed if they made her a princess again, which feels a little strange to me but I'm gonna ask Marvel. I mean I don't know of a good reference point for this, with European nobility or monarchies the sibling is given a different title once the new king or Queen is crowned. I'm not sure how this was handled in China or Japan or African nations, but I'm gonna look into it.
but doesn't that stop when T'Challa became king. If he has any children they would be princes or princesses. Shuri's got to have another title now I think. Her sibling is king now and she is on the secondary line of succession unless she challenges for the crown or T'Challa dies and has no heirs.
After Shuri became Black Panther, she held the title of Princess Regent under Maeberry (I don't believe they started referring to her as Queen until Hickman). So that could imply they still consider her a princess even though her father isn't king. But who knows.
got it will try to check that out later thanks marvell. when was the last time he used this ability and what is it exactly. is it like chaos magic or something
I think it is essentially the ultimate teleporter. At least that is how it is used. The distance doesnt matter as long as you can lock on to something on the quantum level. I guess a step below the space gem.
Last time he used it was in The Ultimates to teleport to Galactus's ship.

T'Challa explains it here in Doom War

As mentioned above the only real practical application we've really seen of it is teleportation. Deadpool used it in Doom War. And T'Challa seemingly used it in Ultimates (though it wasn't referred to as shadow physics by name to my recollection).
Teleportation by Shadow Physics seems to take a pretty high toll on you physically and metally though. Probably why he put Eden on the pay roll.

It's magic and tech combined. As for what it can do, it was never clearly defined and we never see T'Challa do any magic.
It was poorly defined but should have been something worth exploring.

I think the best we can hope for is it will evolve enough to become a Boom Tube.
Zawari is the dark magic that T'Challa rarely turns to unless the situation is desperate. Shuri is that shiny new magic. and she's pulling isht out of thin air.
She's not even using chants or spells just straight doing.
Coates has her in a corner though. Unless he continues to do these mystical stories, there's not much use for her, especially if Zawari is viewed as the Wakandan Sorcerer Supreme.
Kinda leaves her in the cold.
He'll find a way. He already nade KotD useless by having griot apparently older and more knowledgeable then the BP.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if that was Shadow Physics or not. Didn't seem to involve the Nowhere Room in New Avengers. When he teleported in Ultimates, it seemed a lot closer to what we saw in Doom War. I'm sort of wondering if he developed 2 different versions of teleportation, or if Hickman and Ewing simply weren't on the same page with it.
But generally speaking, it was a case of a writer adding new stuff to BP which the next writer sort of ignored. With BP I guess that's kind of the norm. Most of Priests gear largely vanished (or was at least under utilized under Hudlin). The thrice blessed armor Hudlin introduced sort of vanished. And Hickmans included a bunch of stuff (force field, teleportation, purple glowing boxing gloves) which didn't make it out of his run.
It'll be interesting to see if the Force push makes it beyond Coates run.

Honestly the KotD powers were mostly useless from day one.
Aside from giving him back his previous powers and being able to communitcat with the previous BPs, the only practical application of his powers were being able to control zombies. And honestly how often are zombies around to control in comics? The power can really only be used under very specific circumstances... luckily such a circumstance came up in Battle World. But generally speaking, it's not a power you're going to use too often.

The teleport tech in New Avengers was different than the Shadow Physics tech.
T'Challa was also able to teleport one of the young Wakandan scientist with no ill effects.
I can understand using Eden for mass transportation but not having him use his own tech is just baffling.
But again, nothing new for BP not using tech that he's had for some time.

I suspect some of the decisions were done for streamlining purposes.
If you're deciding to make Eden a part of the supporting cast, you probably don't need teleportation. T'CHallas force field might not be needed if he's already got a suit which absorbs kinetic energy. Sort of like giving Iron Man a force field or the invisible woman armor. There's a degree of redundancy there.
Claws, daggers, and glowing purple boxing gloves to a degree probably overlap too. Not entirely... but again I think an argument can be made that a degree of steamlining makes sense.
But yeah... it's sort of lame that he keeps gaining and losing stuff. I sort of get why in some instances, but he really needs to have his power set standardized.

Griots powers are sort of interesting. A lot of it is defensive in nature. Turning to stone, turning to birds, speed... I think she's very difficult to hurt and very difficult to fight. But offensively, I don't think she's backing a lot of firepower.
I think Shuri can hang with a heavy hitter, but I don't necessarily think she can beat one straight up. I think she's versatile and useful without being over powered. Though the zombie controlling/summoning aspects in Wakanda at least are probably very handy.
