Its hard to say how long it can maintain, it would really just be easier if Disney did a little push to get it over
The movie did what it did as far as smashing box office records against negative/low expectations.
I'm more invested in how well the sequel will do.

FLEX, Victor, Smoove-E, Flo are missed around here.
It's good to have peeps like, MoS, EZ, Cville, butterflykyss Mike_Murdock and the rest to keep the thread going.
Even X-Pac who I usually disagree with 95% of the time.
To Mantis' Dad, it's a tough Father's Day for you but I can tell you that your daughter was very well liked here. Always good, positive interactions with her.

Thank you everyone and Marvell2100; today is a great day, because I have the love of my little ones. My 11 and 8 year old make my life complete. :)
Only don't know why they don't read comics, maybe their mutants?? LOL :)

That's great to hear. I lost a daughter a long time ago at a young age(she was 2). I gave part of her name to her younger sister when she was born and who has grown up to make me a very proud dad.
But she isn't into comics either, so I went wrong somewhere too.
Heck, I just got her into Star Wars.

That is sad to lose someone so young; it is great to hear that she lives on in her little sister.
My kids also enjoy Star Wars, but not as much as they like Avenger and Black Panther movies! :)

Happy father's day to all my fellow father's and BP enthusiasts. I an sorry to hear about your losses and I cabt imagine what that must of felt like. But God bless you guys.

I definitely miss the the absent folks you mentioned too.
They really made BP appreciation a troll free joy.
Nowadays, with the exception of a few instances, this thread has become more of a chore with all of the discussion of peripheral characters and villains from another franchise that have ZERO relevance to the forward progression of T'challa and Wakanda.

Yeah those ears are just way too Batman-ish to me.

Okay, glad to hear that someone's kid has their priorities straight .
My daughter did go see Black Panther so that's a step in the right direction.
She's working to be a movie producer so who knows, one day she may be doing a Black Panther movie.

That 1 to 2 drop for Avengers is what to expect from BP, likely much worse.
Rise is doing incredibly well for a mini series.

Black Panther 1 is off to a very nice start. Obviously those are inflated numbers as it's an issue one and there were a bunch of varients, and the second issue will drop like a rock. But it's still a nice start.

Rise should and could easily survive another 6-12 Issues and should be picked up again for such to give Evans some more experience and grooming
