CA: Civil War would seem a logical co-feature.
Yes that would be awesome. That way all the little nuances from CW are fresh in the minds of movie goers so they can see it all clearly

Black Panther Vol. 1 #7 - Drums!

The issue starts with a confrontation between the Samurai and T'Challa and Little. The Samura want their waters back. T'Challa quickly agrees, much to Mr. Little's displeasure. As they leave by submarine, we cut to a flashback where ancient Wakandans witness the Vibranium fall from the sky. However, when they touched the metal, they transformed into demons.
T'Challa returns to the Collectors. Mr. Little reveals there is a little vial of the waters still in his possession. The Collectors all fight over this, tearing each other apart and Mr. Little gives the vial to T'Challa to escape. The action gets very confusing as it appears the vial is shot and shattered and then appears to be intact. Either way, T'Challa returns home to Wakanda. Apparently, with the vial gone, Princess Zanda isn't going to nuke Wakanda.
Meanwhile, in present day Wakanda, Jakkara (stated to be the son of T'Chaka's second wife) exposes himself to raw vibranium, scoffing at the ancient legends. Of course, those legends were correct and he runs away while transforming. Wakanda sounds the drums in alarm and tries to find the rest of the royal family. The issue ends with one of the royal family, a doctor named Joshua Itobo, saying he is ready to defend his land (while N'Gassi says that maybe they should wait for the others).
People remember the King Solomon's Frogs arc the best of the Kirby run, but I actually think this part is stronger. It's still very Kirby, particularly with how he handles myth, legend, and science with the Vibranium, but it also seems to care about the characters he's writing. We see Wakanda, we see its past and we see its society today. We also see more of T'Challa as a King and the inherent commanding presence he brings. I also hate the Collectors, including Mr. Little, so I'm glad to see all of them are revealed to be terrible people and then we can move on from there. Mr. Little seems to redeem himself a little bit and, for once, not place greed above everything else.
It was me.
His initial f4 issues were good.but how much was thst kirby or lee?
The frog arc is horrid. Jakarea arc is horrible.
I forget the kiber arc.
Bleh. Roy is likeky the worst but kirby is down there
Kiber arc was ok. I like the ramifications more than anything. Supposedly this arc was first to introduce man-made teleportation to the Marvel Universe (i read this somewhere). Also BP annexes the island as Wakandan territory. I wish someone would pick this up again. The island was somewhere in the Atlantic.

Anyone know what that alien race is?
Looks Star Wars like. Wouldn't mind a story liberating slave camps building an army to take down the emperor.

No, but I noticed "T'Challa" uses the same piloting interface Okoye did in the movie....

If this moves away from European slave trade, and moves to actual cool cosmic stuff then it may be good
saw bp in the movies again today. my middle daughter invited 8 of her friends /4 boys, 4 girls/, it was every kids 1st time seeing the movie /their parents never took them/.
after the movie it was really neat, 3 of the boys were arguing over who would have the coolest t'challa halloween costume this year, the other boy wants to be killmonger!
all of these kids /except one the girls/, had already seen avengers iw. so it was neat that bp influenced their halloween decesions more than the rest of the avengers they recently saw. i loved the movie even more getting to enjoy it with the kids there. it was my 4th time watching it /once in the movies before, and 2 times at home on blu-ray/. 7 mil here we come! :)
oh, if it matters, all the kids that went with us today were basically white!
my how times have changed for the better.
also, just a thought:
has bp ever appeared as a gust star in marvel's flag ship comic /amazing spider-man?/ besides in #533 which was a tie-in for civil war?
weird that after all these years he has been in so many books besides his own, and only 1 appearance in the regular monthly asm!
am i wrong?
He has been making good cameos lately. Hulk, Ultimates, Spiderman, Secret Empire....
Sadly his cameos are better than his main title.

There's "cool cosmic stuff" and there's "ripping off better stories from movies". You can probably guess which way I'd bet. :D
