Really only Liss stories would fit in Netflix. Or How the fan made Black Panther vid on YouTube was done. But the suit Would have to be downplayed, it could work, it just wouldn't be the Microweave but whatever he wore on in Hell's kitchen. A T'Challa meets daredevil could be fun though
Shockingly, Don Mac's Panther would do well on Netflix. Lot's of talking, moody and less on the budget. Show the Tech Jungle one time and that's it.

Most of his runs, yes, but obviously not the Dinosaurs ;)

Phoenix Suns mascot for MBaku

Honestly, I do think Priest's run could work on a TV budget. Maybe not the way Netflix spends their budget, but absolutely Agents of SHIELD.

I agree with this.
Basically, crossbone him but instead of blowing up he goes to prison.
Gives the option of using him again if tgey want
No, I mean you start him off in prison in the first film, having already tried to overthrow the royal family and being a friend of T'Challa who is on the opposing side. That way you have him as a dangerous confidant of sorts as Klauw and Killmonger do their ****, and then you can have some scenes at the end where he gets offered a breakout in order to get the Jabari on their side... only for M'Baku to refuse because he's diametrically opposed to Klauw and Killmonger ideals wise and fights only for the Jabari, building menace for the second film. T'Challa pops up to fight the other two, and M'Baku takes this as a cue to simply leave, though not before tilting the odds in T'Challa's favour a bit by punching one of the two villains into a wall and being like "He'll probably be up in five minutes, so don't **** about with the other guy". That lets T'Challa beat both opponents in succession without making them look like scrubs with Shuri or the Dora Milaje helping out or fighting someone else, and sets up M'Baku and the Jabari for the sequel.

That would be pretty badass, and it would also allow gor the people to kinda cheer for him because he has that connection to T'Challa being they have been childhood friends. But not like Cap and Bucky. Though M'Baku could team up with Klaw because he has before and would be more likely to. And kilmonger in turn is Kinda out into the comics version of his story

Black panther open casting in Atlanta

If you live in Atlanta, then this might be your chance to represent this community (Of course you have to be black/African-American)

I don't even live in America let alone Atlanta unfortunately. Also, I'm white anyway so I guess that would've ruled me out Dboi654. Still, good luck to any CBR members who are going for the open casting thing. :)

t'challa vs Mbaku Round 1 from Avengers 62

Those funny old books with their funny villain failures

I've said this before, but it bears repeating...
When you get down to it, M'Baku and N'Jadaka serve the exact same storytelling role, as the "dark mirror" to T'Challa, the rival claimant to the throne with a connection to T'Challa's past.
The difference is, when you get down to it, is that Killmonger is a more interesting character than the White Gorilla. So if you give Erik that role in the movie, the only thing that M'Baku can do is be (as he's been for years, to be honest) "dumb muscle". I suspect that since the actor chosen for Killmonger is less than physically imposing (unlike his more recent comics portrayals) they'll use M'Baku as a more physical adversary... someone T'Challa has to defeat before he can confront Erik. If you remember IRON MAN 2, M'Baku would be the Whiplash to Killmonger's Justin Hammer.
(TVTropes regulars would call this "The Dragon")
I actually suspect KLAW will be the "Batroc" of the movie, since his role in T'Challa's origin has been supplanted. Plus, Serkis has not been announced as a part of the cast, which suggests a bit role, if any.

I guess you could always save Klaw for later if you really wanted to.
Klaw may not have the "kill T'chaka origin" but he still is the one that stole all the vibranium which enabled AoU to happen, which brought Wakanda out of hiding. Oh and escaped... how many people did he have to kill to steal vibranium and escape prison I wonder?
So, definitely not as "definitive" as killing T'chaka but hes still intertwined with the mythos to some extent.
Making him the Batroc would work... have him seeminly die and if you really really want to you can bring him back as purple Klaw in 20 years lol. Masters of Evil or some ****
Re: Mbaku and Killmonger
yeah I mentioned that before as well. You can't have solo movies for both, they are too similar really. I do wonder if they give some of Mbaku's details to Killmonger instead though (friendship angle). Although parts of Killmongers origin (the Klaw angle) still work if necessary. I wonder if they will play up Killmonger's family helping Klaw... make him a betrayer of sorts and remove the "pressed to help" angle and make it a "helped for promised money" instead.

Give M'Baku his props. He followed the classic villain trope of not killing you foe immediately, instead going for the long-winded death trap that always fails. He was a true villain.
#StonecoldM'Baku.

Not only that, but he was actually formidable, and not relegated to background trash villain to show heroes spanking. He was an actual threat to the avengers and T'Challa. this depiction and Priestsversion are the most love he has seen. Which is a shame because he could be a very cool villain to play with

Round 2 in Avengers 78, M'Baku actually whoops Cap and throws him off a building lol
And ends up fighting tchalla, losing, but then tricks tchalla with a monica lynne maniquin that has a bomb inside
Mbaku is the villain we need

I'm not sure I can give him credit for being craftier... he lost because he toppled a status on himself.
But yeah... M'Baku can be a lot of fun, despite the potentially politically incorrect aspects of his character. It's why I'm somewhat fearful he's going to end up being just a muscled goon in the BP movie (even though I understand they may need to take short cuts with him given how many bad guys there will be). I'm hoping we at least get some love from him in the books down the line, not that Coates realizes he's not dead.

One of the things I have always liked about the Lethal Legion (other than the name which I think is cool), was that they had no other motivation other than a personal grudge against one or more of the Avengers. Their leader Grim Reaper was a nutjob who had a grudge against the entire team.
So of course the first thing these dudes do is backmail and terrorise the Butler because they can.
They are basically just really powerful thugs with grudges.
You figure that they spend thier downtime driving around New York in a White Van hoping to catch Hawkeye or Rick Jones by himself....

It was a,much cooler name than Masters of Evil IMO.
I do think there should have been more of them though. In my head legion sounded more like a small army than a half dozen guys. Hoofs crecbacknin the day could have used the name.

M'Baku arguably accomplished more but also arguably had more epic fail. Whether one was more crafter than the other might be dependent on whether or not you'really grading on a curve.
I will say I think Killmonger was slightly more protected. BP writers seemingly wanted to sweep Erics lesser showings under the carpet.
-
Well, hopefully, if BP continues to rise in popularity, a rogue of his (old or new) will eventually be used as a greater threat to the MU as a whole.
