Things must have gotten pretty bad in Wakanda between Priest and Hudlins run, because all of a sudden they did seem to need a whole lot more Doras for whatever reason. It is sort of funny how much the Dora thing expanded over the years. T'Challa really ramped it up off panel.
Nope even in Hudlin's run there were only two. Mayberry added the army

That's why I said T'Challa had to have ramped it up off panel. We saw the army in Maeberrys run, but presumably he had to have been building that army behind the scenes prior to that. I don't think an army can be magically built overnight.

I was just thinking yesterday about how glorious it's going to be seeing hundreds of Dora's (beautiful strong black women) kicking ass at the same time on a battlefield in either Infinity wars or Panther's movie.

We should do a poll to see if this group prefers the army of Dora vs just having the two

This whole revelation is strange. I'm inclined to say I don't like it but that depends on how T'Challa reacts. This is pre-Bashenga history, but the idea of Wakanda being founded by forcefully driving out the natives diminishes their moral superiority and largely pristine history. Wakanda grew as a result of Wakandan culture and ingenuity. The basis of their whole society was being self sufficient and not really going out of their way to mess with anyone.
Them receiving aid from spiritual monsters and then turning them into refugees eerily reminds me of how people couldn't possibly think that black societies/civilizations could grow without non-black knowledge or technology. That probably wasn't Coates' intention as I truly don't think he hates Black Panther like that, but that's what it reminds me of as an African myself.
On the other hand, it shows in some weird way Wakandan ruthlessness and power. It also hypes pre-Bashenga Wakandans as taking on demons. It also opens the door up to T'Challa ascending to godhood if people believe in him enough. That's what I got out of that little history lesson.
I'm more concerned about how T'Challa will react. There's no denying that he's been restrained in the way he deals with his enemies during the course of this run. He's cerebral and very mindful of how his actions will impact the morality of his nation and its overall stability. For example, he could've easily killed the Midnight Angels but chose not to for fear of the political and philosophical implications. It's not out the realm of possibility he might have Wakandans just pack up and leave their country for space. It would be the morally correct thing to do.
I don't want Wakanda colonizing space as refugees giving up their homeland. I'd prefer they bring the Originators along as extra people to help colonize. That's my main concern. I don't want him giving ground on something that should be non-negotiable. T'Challa should recognize the blood his ancestors have on their hands but have no issue defending their legacy, which is the nation of Wakanda itself. Anything less than that will diminish this run for me. Bottom line, the Originators need to either get their asses kicked or get with the program and help Wakanda populate space.

I'm afraid that is unlikely to happen, period.
Inverse ninja law does not discriminate on the basis of creed, color, religion or planet of origin.

If you want bad @$$ Doras kicking butt, you probably want 5 or less. Anymore than 5 and they become red shirts, which basically makes them canon fodder for the villain.

I think it'll be all of the above.
They're get their behinds kicked (really that's already been happening as T'Challa and his friends have managed to repell their attacks thus far), but afterwards I think some sort of truth will be made where they will share either Wakanda or their Galactic Empire.
Again, that's the handy thing about a Galactic Empire. In theory they should have more than enough real estate to share without anyone getting short changed.
We didn't know there was more than two until he was in recovery? Right before Doomwar when Mayberry started giving input?
You're probably right. The design style fits everything else since Who Is the Black Panther so well that I thought it had been earlier.

I think MoS came up with the best theory.
I understand their reasons for not sharing.
But frankly yes, I think they're being jerks by not doing it. Your arguments defending them for withholding the cure for cancer are the excuses. If there's a cure for cancer, then there is a moral responsibility to get it out in the world to help the people suffering from it. Period.
And I'll say the same thing for the western world, which is likewise withholding the cure for cancer. Osborn had it in dark reign, so the US is withholding it too.
People who withhold the cure for cancer are jerks.
Wakanda owes the World nothing, they are not jerk's because their only interactions with the outside world were other countries failing to invade, then when Wakanda reaches out to share resources and trade, other countries jump at the Ford attempt and assassinate a head of state and then give radio silence and refuge for the assasin. From there Wakanda is no more responsible for other countries issue's, just like they have not responsible for ending hunger, or poverty in other countries, and it's not as though America is lacking the Brain Power to end those things in MU. So no, they aren't in the wrong, and your excuses don't work
