As a third factor, if they wanna retcon Steve having some sort of prior friendship with T'Challa's grand father, like we saw in Flags with Our Fathers and Priests original story, there might be some degree of comradery or debt of honor or whatever between Steve and Wakanda that could play into things (though this scenario is probably the least likely).
I'm not so sure that this scenario is unlikely, in Avengers: Age of Ultron we know
1) Cap's vibrainium shield gets destroyed (As we all know vibrainium is a huge part of BP's and Wakanda's history)
2) Haley Atwell is in it (I'm pretty sure as a flashback, I can't see her as a 90 year old woman in this movie)
3) There appears to be a flashback with Steve in his Army greens (admittedly this is speculation on my part, but it could be a version of him, with Atwell, meeting with a Wakandan delegate or T'challa's (grand)father)
4) Andy Serkis is playing Klaw
5) A part of the movie is filmed in South Africa, which is believed to be Wakanda.
Civil War will be a Cap/Iron Man movie. There won't be much time to develop other characters, especially characters making their first appearance. And honestly they shouldn't be delving into BP in someone else's movie. I want that saved for his own. Once he's established though, I can see them having him doing more in other movies.
That's one of my fears, honestly. That their will be SO many other heroes that Cap himself could possibly get drowned out. But I have faith in the Russos. I do think, and hope, that BP is going to have a decent part, not necessarily a big role, but still more than just a cameo.

I don't think Cap will get lost in this one. His and Tony's actions are the catalyst for Civil War. And like you I trust the Russos, they did a great job with Winter Soldier and I have no doubt they'll do great with this one.

Yeah the Russos have really surprised and impressed me.

I agree 100% with you guys.
To keep it about Black Panther is their any news about a possible director yet? If not who would be on your guys' short list.
For me it would be
Russo Bothers - I really liked what they did on CA:TWS but they're probably too busy now.
Antoine Fuqua - I really like a lot of his movies King Arthur, Training Day (obviously), Shooter, Olympus has Fallen, Equalizer and my personal favorite of his, Tears of the Sun. He may not have a lot experience, if any, in the superhero genre, but then again how much did the Russo brothers or James Gunn.
Reginald Hudlin - He has directing experience, and of course wrote Black Panther.

Russo's are out... they will be doing Infinity War, there is no way they can squeeze another movie in between the two.
Plus... producing Spider-Man
Right, I'd bet some money that someone saw where it was slated to be released and then just picked the one story Thanos and BP shared.
I'm thinking BP will have a smallish role in CA:CW, probably akin to War Machine or Black Widow in Iron Man 2. So small, but everyone's favorite part of the movie. I actually think Spider-Man will have a similarly sized if not smaller bit. A lot of what Spider-Man's role is in the comic can't be done here as there's no real emotional impact.
I really hope Spider-Man's role is reduced to swinging by in the background and that is it lol.

Is there a BP fan here who think Batman can win against him?

In the DCU sure, in the MU not a chance.

I see. But I don't really see Batman beating Black Panther. Black Panther has connection to magic and has a God to help him.
and BP has a costume that Batman's tools might not hurt BP at all.
But if they will only wear normal clothes and just h2h combat, I don't know who is better. Who is better?

to build a story where Batman can beat bp is one thing, but stats wise Batman shouldn't stand a chance. If it's normal clothes and just h2h BP should be able to wash Batman everyday of the week.

Who do you think is the Batman/BlackPanther in Valiant comics and Dark horse comics, if there is any.
