Speaking of Kasper, who can you guys see playing him if he shows up in the sequel? I can picture someone like Micheal Jai White pulling it off.
I'm looking for a good candidate, but they're all early 40s. Lol
Maybe the youngest daughters boyfriend from Black Lighting.
Loved the issue!! Can't wait to see how this all culminates.
Be careful. Logan had his nose open. lol

Don’t get too excited. Knowing Marvel it won’t be long until Storm goes running back to Logan.

I think it's important that whoever play Kasper be bi-racial and light skinned. First person I thought of it Wentworth Miller from Prison Break, who has a black father and a white mother just like Kasper.
Yes, I find it interesting that someone who has a thorough understanding of the character, and whom played a major role in his development, is pleased with Coates writing while many who frequent here have accused him of having no grasp of T’Challa.
He doesn't.
Also, you think that Priest is the only person who has a thorough understanding of Black Panther? There are people out there who don't write comics who can school a lot of people about Black Panther.
So no, while I give him lots of praise for his work on Black Panther, Priest's words are not gospel. And Coates T'Challa is nowhere nears Priest's.

Coates taking over Captain America this summer and it looks like he’s staying on BP too.

And a Skrull empire born through worship of an Earth king and taking on the nature of an Earth nation is very imaginative.

For gods sake Coates just GTFO of the BP franchise already. We can only pray to Bast he’ll be done after season 3.

Hopefully that means we'll see them interact a bit more. We haven't gotten as much as I'd like in recent years, and a lot of interaction they did have wasn't as positive as I would have liked.

KingNomarch. If he had half the respect coming into Cap as he did with BP we might have gotten something good out of the gate. Lol
But this is the telling part of the interview.
C.B. Cebulski who just helped me refashion the script to the first issue; and Axel Alonso, who first broached the idea of me writing Cap
In other words his normal writing is out the window. lol

I wish Marvel would try that ish. Let Logan play with Jean resurrected cakes storm is good with her true and only king.
Don’t get too excited. Knowing Marvel it won’t be long until Storm goes running back to Logan.
Like seriously if they pull that I would be officially done. I'm already pissed Jean has interacted more with Tchalla than Ororo. She hasn't even uttered his name in the xbooks like wtf? They are purposefully trolling Coates.
That would be insane! I love the theory... Probably too big of imagination for Coates/ of he did he would f it up hard
I would definitely like to see something like this. An empire founded in T'Challa's name by an alien race.
But an empire established by true Wakandans would be just as exciting just to see how it would be pulled off.
This is right up Al Ewing's alley. He gets to play in a big sandbox and do some cool sci-fi stuff.

yeah, I worry about that. I'm guessing it's going to be a watered down version of what he actually wants to write.
