There is nothing that can change our minds about the film at this point. You might as well stop carrying on like this.
I almost wish McGregor had gone the extra step and married T'Challa and Monica Lynne in Panther's Prey. That was the only point of the story, he ran it up the food chain for editorial approval, and, ultimately, he didn't follow through with it.
I'm fine with the Black Panther/Storm relationship. But, as long as he's married to a prominent character associated with another line of books, it'll never be a permanent thing. At most, it's a temporary storyline (she hasn't appeared in months here anyway, unless I'm misremembering). The only way it could work permanently is if she's severed from the X-line and the book is renamed "Black Panther and Storm." I'm not entirely sure I would want that.
That was what I wanted from the beginning but on the other hand, in a world where Marvel is willing to delete the Spider Man/MJ marriage it really doesn't matter WHAT they do on that end anymore.
They are NOT trying to have characters on the romantic side of things stick anymore.
See also: everything Marvel's done with Jane Foster and Gwen Stacy.
Romantic foils are out of fashion at Marvel and have been for awhile.

Who's trying to change who's mind? Get over yourself
Not BP related, but someone might be interested in being a Lion Forge associate creative director.
The pinned thread on marvel studios reddit is tearing the movie apart. If I actually liked the movie, I'd feel some type of way lol
A poll thread on this board from a few days ago had someone who was making bold claims eating crow because it didn't back up them up.

Someone alert the press. Reddit has negative opinions about something!

What does your post have to do with my post?

You have 117 posts most of which are you in here trying to tell everyone their opinion on Black Panther is garbage. You even went so far as to make an ill advised poll that made you look stupid as hell.
Take your own advice. Get over yourself.
A lot of the criticism in that thread are valid and I wouldn't call them race related.

Can you pick out these posts calling everyone's opinion garbage? its ironic since most of the posts in this thread are complaining about coates when the comic and movie are similar. I see him getting outshined left and right and I can't vent? Lmao
Poll wasn't an L or whatever. I've seen a lot of criticism about T'Challa, and dude I responded to said he seen the criticism echoed around the Internet too. So I wanted to see how the rest of the sub forum felt.

I know you weren't talking to me, but I feel the need to chime in. No, I can't speak to the garbage thing. But I tend to agree with the parallel that you draw between the book and the movie. But the overlying narrative that you all are not speaking about (at least I haven't read it myself) is that T'Challa is Wakanda and Wakanda is T'Challa. His supporting cast should shine just as bright as he does. They enrich each other. They reinforce the importance of a strong village, aware and in acceptance of their differences, but unified in a common goal of perseverance in the face of adversity. BP and Wakanda should be written in a way that presents them both as the protagonist.
Your poll was an "L". It did your point no favors. BP was a compelling character because the characters around him can't shine unless they're reacting to something his character is doing. He's the face of the Wakandan and Black Panther mythos. To say his billion dollar movie failed to capture him in a compelling way is misguided. Your poll proves as much.

and again you telling nothing but the truth.
where is this poll everyone is talking about?
Trying to use reddit aka 4chan lite as validation of your minority opinion is just plain laughable.
