Reginald Hudlin knew how the land lay as far as what was going on behind the scenes and just laid it out for discerning readers to figure it out.
Unfortunately, some are still deluding themselves.
Unlike these others, I'm not ready to gush in excitement over Aaron's portrayal of T'Challa in Original Sin because I haven't forgotten.....

Some people have selective memories.
Neither one of us is cursed with that particular affliction.

T'Challa and Shuri standing tall together!?!? That's enough to get some folks in this thread to start hating and waxing nostalgia

Different strokes for different folks.
I love Shuri so much because she reminds me of my younger sister.
I dont know. I feel like if you dont like the character nor show the character respect..dont write him. Id rather T'challa be in limbo than in the hands of someone who is luke warm or hates the character.
And then we would be complaining about T'Challa being in limbo.

I love Shuri cause when writers worth a damn have decided to write her as a strong woman of color who's bout that life and not on some bs I can recommend friends read stuff with her in it with no fear of explaining the bs or knowing there gonna be pissed about her being "strong" but not really. I love my sister but she's Gen X Jubilee in attitude

You know not all of us are still mad about the marriage nonsense that some posters here still love bringing up and us that moved on don't talk down on y'all even though you're beating on a dead horse. No need to be so passive aggressive in an appreciation thread.

Witht the exception of what Jonathan Hickman is doing with T'Challa, Shuri and Wakanda in the New Avengers book, they might as well all be in limbo because it' not as if they're appearing anywhere else in the 616 MU.
As for T'Challa appearing in Original Sin if his prrofile had not been raised by the aforementioned Hickman, it's more than likely that Aaron would not have gone out of his way to include T'Challa in the OS event.
And even then, it' not as if the former Wakandan monarch has actually featured in any of the promotional material for said event.
Regardless of how slow the progress has been in New Avengers, I'll always be grateful to Jonathan Hickman for doing a solid by the BP mythos.

What's needed on any future Black Panther solo ongoing, is a writer ambitious enough to follow through on all of the excellent work done by McGregor, Priest, McDuffie, Johns, Hudlin, Liss and Hickman whilst mining the trainwreck that was Maberry's involvement for positives such as Shadow Physics and the Nowhere Room.
We don't need any more writer more invested in tearing the BP mythos to pieces just on a whim.

Shuri really is about that life especially when written by Hudlin, Liss or Hickman.
I'd kill to see her interacting with Queen Divine Justice and Sofija.

Most people know that I'm a nostalgic kinda guy so it goes without saying that I'm open to all ideas as regards keeping the BP mythos relevant whilst respecting all positive viewpoints.

She is/was such a great character with a non cookie cutter personality. I would love to see more of her in Marvel comics but it seems like even wen Marvel has a story take place in Africa they turn to stereotypical use and throw away characters instead of fleshed out and vibrant characters from the B.P mythos.

QDJ was great but the "Nappy Fro Lad" stuff made me cringe lol
Vibraxas was cool too
-
Wasn't it sorta revealed that T'Challa and QDJ had an "Evil" child in the future?

Priest brought something special to the BP equation with Queen Divine Justice.
