Wasn't there like an 88% drop in China though?
It was estimated to be an 88% drop before the weekend started. I think it ended up more like 80%. I'll check the numbers once I have the actual this week.
There are a lot of things and characters from the BP mythos that seldom get used. Doesn't make them any less relevant.
The same is true for any character.

Yeah, but my point is how relavent is something if it is seldom used?
Like I said, something is only as relavent as the story makes it. I'll agree that a lot of things from the BP mythos need to be utilized better... and that's my point. That's how they become relavent. By actually being used in stories. It's writing 101... show, not tell.
Malice can be used again by simply having the original come back. Nakia was Brain washed by Mephisto and Achebe, there are plenty of ways to bring Nakia into the mix
That would sort of be a lame trade off, since Priests Malice was a lot cooler. IMO of course.

They don't talk about Uncle Ben all the time but he's still relevant to the Spidey mythos.

There's a reason they don't use Uncle Ben. He's dead. If the techno organic jungle were destroyed we'd at least have a reason why it hasn't been used well since Priest.
I'll say again ... show, not tell. It's all well and good for Stan and Jack to say it's cool, but if it basically had maybe one good showing in like half a century, then I think it's fair to say there is a disconnect there. If marvel wants it to be a relevant part of the mythos, then it needs to be used. At least semi-regularly.

Read carefully. I didn't say they used Uncle Ben. I said they don't talk about Uncle Ben. He's still relevant to Spidey regardless.

Absolutely he's relavent... he's responsible for who Peter is. The guilt over what happened to Ben helped shape Peter into who he is. Uncle Ben is still regularly referenced... Bens words about with great power comes great responsibility has been echoed regularly in various media for decades. Even dead, he's still in effect being used.
If they referenced the techno organic jungle as much and as widely as they referenced Uncle Ben we wouldn't be having this conversation.

Again, just because they don't mention does not make it less relevant. It still exists.

Doesn't the fact that it still exists but isn't used actually only highlight it's lack of relavence?
If it were destroyed, we could at least have a reason why he doesn't use it. But if it exists and he simply doesn't bother, then how relavent should we assume it actually is?
Again, that's where the disconnect lies. It needs to be actually be used at least semi-regularly in order to actually sell the notion that it matters. Simply existing unused in limbo really isn't adding anything.

And MCU Nakia is cooler then comics Nakia. I'll talk that trade off all day everyday
Yeah, but it's a distance weapon too. Every other character in the MU, in T'Challa's general weight class, has a distance weapon to shake up the action scenes. Why not him?
Yeah, but the movie spent a fair chunk of time instructing the audience about how T'challa's uniform absorbs and redirects kinetic energy. Anyone who uses a ranged weapon against him like guns, arrows, force blasts, shields, etc, are just making him stronger and faster. Hell, by not having a ranged weapon, he's actively encouraging enemies to take shots at him and empower his attacks. It's the Sebastian Shaw school of owning fools. MCU Panther is really good at it.

In China, if a movie is sold out (as they frequently are since space is limited), you can just buy a bootleg at the theater. Some theaters give you free bootlegs when you buy a ticket. You're on the honor system to throw it away when you've seen it once.
I'm sure it works like a charm.

That didn't worked out so well for him with the grenade launcher. Energy daggers are long range and close quarters combat weapons. Their versatility speaks for themselves. There's no reason not to have them. Give the man his energy daggers.

They don't really need to trade off, because they're in different mediums at the moment.
Movie Nakia is movie Nakia and comic Nakia is comic Nakia.
