The thing is that Storm isn't just some random X-Men that happened to show up for this story. She's a part of the supporting cast of the book too.
Yeah, not a whole lot of video game love from marvel especially on the console side of things.
Theres actually alot of video game love coming from Marvel, just not on the console side
They should also team up with Mortal Kombat and have the Warrior Falls as a bonus fight setting. Special Finishing move is to throw the opponent over.
Seems like the MOrtal Kombat folks are on the DC side of things. Which is fine I guess since Marvel seems to have more of a relationship with the Street Fighter people.

Yeah, I know marvel puts out a lot of mobile fighter games. I guess I sort of want more console games apart from the lego stuff.
I still wish Marvel could do something similar to DCUO.
Between Shuri and T'challa you have the combined knowledge and history of Wakanda and all its glory at your disposal. So how is this resolved, by Wakanda as a nation praying to ####ing Storm to empower her to save the Wakanda itself.
Thunderball killed klaw
Storm and the sorcerers killed god dude
Let that sink in a bit lol
This mother###### needs to go. I think Coates ranks below Maberry and Thomas as the worst person to ever pen Black Panther. Absolute garbage, top to bottom.
According to some, he's dping an awesome job writing Storm as the most important part of the BP mythos.
The fact that he's reduced a 10'000 year old civilization to a rape camp infested backwater praying to a mutant with delusions of godhood, is an irony lost on those who bleated on about how Storm couldn't be a part of the aforementioned mythos due to her supposedly "belonging to a different franchise."
But then again, why should anyone be suprised at the excitement amongst some readers?
Coates has chronicled Storm performing mighty feats that her enthusiasts haven't seen in many a year.
It's rather sad that these said aren't being written within the actual X-Men family of books that Storm is supposed to be a major player within.
The hypocrisy is quite nauseating to say the least.

They are developong an avengers game atm
Storm and Shuri should have swapped roles. This was stupid as hell. And it's going to be even dumber in retrospect when Storm gets sent back to X-Topia in favor of Naka for movie synergy.
An even dumber when Storm inevitably hops back into bed with Wolverine at the drop of a hat once they meet up again. Familiar scent.
As a testament to Black Panther's staying power, my local 8-screen theater has this as their lineup for the weekend.
(# is just showing the 8 screens, not ranking or anything)
1. Rampage
2. Rampage (3D)
3. Traffik
4. Ready Player One
5. Blockers
6. A Quiet Place
7. Truth or Dare
8. Black Panther
At this theater Black Panther has outlasted:
Game Night
Red Sparrow
Death Wish
A Wrinkle in Time
Strangers: Prey at Night
Love, Simon
Tomb Raider
Pacific Rim: Uprising
Tyler Perry's Acrimony
I Feel Pretty isn't even playing here and that opens up this weekend.
SOS with Coates. Doesn't matter where it is, Earth or space.
At least I get a new writer on Iron Man who wants to actually do something good with Tony Stark.
I hope we don't have to wait much longer for this to be over.
Just make Rise of BP an ongoing so that there's a better BP read on the stands.

That would be cool but not sure the tone of the BP mythos may fit with the Mortal Kombat mythos but game studios can make them work

The DC vs MK games effectively already establish that so.e sort of multiverse exists. So it would 't be that hard.
Shao Kahn invades by setting up fighting tournaments with God's, so Bast having T'Challa as her rep is pretty easy.
Just a PSA.
Sometimes we talk about Cyborg here. Just wanted to let people know he punched the hell out of Batman in JL. lol
Can you replace someone who has been seen in a decade? I don't want Malice replaced either but it ain't like anyone has any ideas for her anyway. She's been ignored since Priest until the movie came out and then Priest wrote her again and now Nnedi is gonna right her and she is up to the same ol' **** she has always been with no development at all.
I assume you mean hasn't been seen in a decade? The answer is still clearly yes either way, though. I'm never a fan of just junking something because people haven't had ideas in the past. I'm also not sure "let's copy that idea from the movie" comes off as creating a new idea anyway.
So did Intergalactic Wakanda get taken over?
Am I trying to read too much into single out of context panels lol?
People have been reading too much out of solicits for the past two years, so why not do that with a single panel?
My thoughts on this issue:
This issue had a very frenetic pace and I'm not sure it concluded clearly. I'm a little unclear on what exactly happened to power Storm. That being said, we're seeing a very clear theme. The story isn't focusing on T'Challa the warrior, it's about T'Challa the leader. He's at his most effective when he's using his resources to win the day, even if he's manipulating those resources. For those who want show not tell, it could certainly be frustrating because we're told these people are doing these things because T'Challa is organizing them, but we're not seeing T'Challa physically do much. The whole point was that he's one step ahead of everyone and able to win the day.
Leonard Kirk's art feels a bit rushed. I definitely didn't like the panels where he didn't bother to draw faces. That being said, I thought the panels returning to a catatonic Storm were effective.
Overall, this resolution was definitely a step down from the first arc. I think the action has definitely improved, but a lot of the promised world building doesn't seem to pay off. I'm curious if he returns to the Orishas in the future because there's definitely more to explore.

And right after Priest used Batman as a mouthpiece to voice all of our criticisms at DC regarding Cyborg. Lmao.
