How about a Klaw cameo in the new Avengers trailer?

The big question is... who is that standing just offscreen to our right, in what looks like a black costume?

Beat you to it the last page man! lol
Here is a direct comparision as well since we haven't seen Klaw in ages

Screw you guys, I am goign to get my hopes up at every opportunity!
I love the MCU more than I love the comic book universe.
-
We can only hope its Klaw, although just like Ultron debuting before Ant-Man and Hank Pym that doesn't necessarily mean we are getting a Black Panther solo film.
-
If that is Klaw, and it's leading to a Wakanda/BP appearance, then I'll happily eat crow.
Until then, I'm doubtful but curious.

Looking at in motion, that actually looks like a jacket on a coat rack.

As long as Ike Permulter is in charge there isn't going to be a Black Panther movie.

SQUEAL!!!! I'd adore Serkis as Klaw; that is awesome casting!!! :D
And that certainly is a valid concern. But like I said, until some other sollution presents itself that's really all they've got. In the least its buying everyone else time.
I wasn't debating that point so it's pretty moot. What I said was that the Cabal could easily turn the tables on Earth 616 and that their methods are brutal and unnecessary.
-
If that is Klaw I reckon it'll be the role that finally catapults serkis away from the idea that he is just a cgi actor

Until he gets transformed into the master of sound
Lord help me I've convinced myself that's klaw. Who else could that be but Ulysses s klaw? He isn't some nazi hydra agent
Is adamatium in the MCU?

If we're all in agreement over the UN's decision given the situation, then cool.

I don't think so. I think adamantium is owned by fox so vibranium is sort of its replacement in the mu.
I'm dying for a black panther movie and comic series. I bet the black panther movie would have the best music score in a comic book movie of all time

Me too. Oh, please let this be true! :D

I really do think he's Klaw for two reasons:
1) They still have yet to announce who Serkis is playing. Saying up front that he's Klaw basically spoils an upcoming film announcement. One does not just set up Klaw without a pay off.
2) There's no way he'd get face time like that in the trailer if he didn't have some larger significance to the film.

They've set up Thanos for over two years and there ain't no pay off coming for a good while
Folks forget that despite frequent announcements and showing of their hands Marvel studios love to play the long game
-
I think Marvel will showcase BP in he MCU. I believe they are being quiet about it. If this is the case, I certainly approve.
-
I'd really like him to just pop up out of nowhere. I think I'd be the most pleased about a surprise appearance of him over any other character since Daredevil and Iron Fist have been announced as tv shows. I'd still rather have Black Panther in the MCU just because of how fundamentally different as a hero he is.

If Klaw is eating a bowl a wonton noodles in Hong Kong I want Black Panther hiding in a soy sauce packet ready to cap him.

Thanksfor posting those scans again Mr. M. I forgot Black Swan existed, which is odd because she seemed like the focus for so so so long.
But we still haven't seen anything worse than the Builders yet lol. So that laugh is still... pointless? IDK

I don't see why not. Bast prophecy was "Phoenix messes up Wakanda" (AvX), things get even worse (NA currently), and now we have to get to the "T'Challa is Wakanda's salvation" part.
Prophecies are a Hickman staple. And when given the time to, which clearly he has, they usually happen.

Yes I agree the salvation thing hasnt come yet.

but how will there be salvation for wakanda if there are only 1800 people from a nation that had 6-10 million people living there?
i have thought of different outcomes but they all feel pointless to me

to be honest i don't see a way they are getting out of this but we will see

Welcome to the club.

Blacks from around the world coming together to help rebuild Wakanda. Many of them coming to live there. Bast ending up with a worldwide religion would be the salvation i would hope for. But that would take a set of vibranium mounds for marvel to make such a bold statement.

speaking of which. there better be some mention of this tragedy in the X-books from you know who. Also from people like Daredevil who actually have friendly ties to T'challa and Wakanda. I'd like to know their thoughts on what was allowed to transpire and who if anyone spoke up
-
Either Hickman finishes this story with BP triumphant.......or he does not.
I have to see this through to the end, regardless of the outcome.

On Reggie Hudlin's website front page:
All the way at the bottom, there's a group photo of Mr. Hudlin standing with Halle Berry, Djimon Honsou and one of the Russo brothers, the latter of whom is holding a Captain America/Black Panther Flags of Our Fathers TPB.
Just a chance meetup and an interesting photo, of course. .;)

It's Joe Russo, specifically.

I really like the design aspects of the image. My one criticism is that the eyes of the panther and Black Panther appear more as "scared" than intimidating.
